“Now we have an opportunity to work with each other. Now it’s just amazingly fun. We have a lot of fun. You know, we get a lot of work in but it’s good to coach The Goat. You know, it’s good to coach the guy that everybody will consider the best ever. It’s just fun, man. It’s just fun when you have a guy like this who’s seen it all, done it all. You just got to put him in position and watch him execute. It’s a special thing.

It's one thing to object but we're 100 pages in. No one cares. Certainly not the mods.

If I have no interest in a thread I won't post and will just keep it moving. Not that hard unless some just want to *****/moan. We're going to be talking about Brady as long as there's football being played.
There are threads right now on page 1 that, if the title did not pique my interest, I've not entered. And I've always been that way. If it seems like a wildly popular thread, I might eventually check it out just to see why. I've found some gems, and I've also found some that I was justified in my initial avoidance. I simply leave it alone after that. It's really that simple. At this point it's become almost impossible for me to figure out if some people on this board really believe the nonsense they're posting. Some of you need to get out more... meet some people and get some perspective in life. It's really not that serious.

The big thing I've noticed is that Leftwich doesn't sit down with Brady after every possession change, to review plays or discuss adapting to what defensive wrinkles are being thrown at him. Wonder how Brady gets around that.

2019 Pats scored over 400 points and had the 2nd best point differential in the NFL. They would not be 0-3 with Brady at QB despite how much SB1 wants it to be so. Last years team completely controlled the game against a good Bills team week 16 and were likely a play or 2 away from beating the Titans. Not a great team by Patriot standards but they would have figured out ways to score if Brady, Stidham or even Hoyer were QB's.

If Brady had the same running game that we have this year, the result would have been different. The passing game is pretty much the same as last year.

I do not know what the record would be, but Cam adds a dimension to the offense that Brady obviously does not. That, IMO, has impacted all three games. I would like to see Cam do more in the passing game as he gets more comfy because we're going to need his body and running abilities in the colder months down the stretch even more. I'm liking what I'm seeing so far.

I started posting random Tampa facts, and the cheerleader picture, because one of the Tom Brady fans, not a Patriot fan, got all butt hurt when I challenged him on the fact that Tom might not continue to improve this season, because in the last few years in New England, Tom had developed problems with his throwing arm, which caused him to miss practices, not do so well as the season wore on. Much like the last few years when posters hoped that BB would hold on Gronk for the playoffs so he would be healthy for the "important" games. He felt I was wishing injury to Tom, because his love for Tom knows no end. Honestly, unless the Patriots play TB, I don't care about Tom anymore. Of course this led me to start reading this thread and found it had morphed from a discussion of how Tom and Gronk were playing, to a discussion of the Tampa Bay team. Which actually has a place on this site specifically designed for it.

The Patriots used to do this a lot because they needed to outwork other teams to maximize their roster talent. Clearly the Bucs feel like they have the horses s they can dictate to other teams. We'll see. Remember during the Moss year the Patriots just went back to the same thing over and over and over again. Welker and Moss. Very little need for adjustments. Until the Super Bowl, that is.

Are you referring to the "shoulder" problems? I thought we all acknowledged those were mythical. We used to joke about it. Brady was listed as having those problems during the meat of the MVP and Super Bowl seasons. His only two arm injuries that I remember are the gruesome thumb injury and last season he injured his elbow during a game. I don't see these as the kinds of repetitive injuries you're talking about.

That is a great quote. I would imagine life is pretty good these days for Leftwich. LOL

Tom Brady played through two injuries in Wild Card loss to Tennessee Titans (report)
Last year it was reported he had tennis elbow, which led him to limit his throwing during practices. I chose to believe that, rather than the alternative, which was he was being a whiny ***** and was mad that the Patriots weren't offering him a multi year contract.
The year before his knee was supposedly injured in the Titans game and while he played through that injury, he wasn't really his usual self and had some up and down games.

I still say the biggest difference is the O-line. I mean, look at it, Marshall freakin Newhouse, a hurt Shaq Mason, and even Cannon was hurt and went out and was replaced by a JAG no longer with the team. Don't forget Ted Karras who played well enough--but he is not Andrews or Thuney.

Brady had like 1.5 seconds to throw last year. The OL was comically bad.

We went into the season with a tackle as backup and a high LT draft choice, but then the tackle retired and our high tackle draft choice got hurt, compounded by Isaiah Wynn also getting hurt, leaving us with... Marshall Newhouse.

We most likely win the SB if we had the run game just like we did in 2018. A shame that the Oline was so banged up.

Tennis elbow is a repetitive motion injury. Kind of the definition of that actually.

Brady has played through injuries his entire career. Most of them we probably don't even know about. He trains like no other player ever has which has extended his prime and playing career exponentially. He also avoids unnecessary hits like no other QB ever has.

I personally think the level of coaching in NE is on a completely different level. They just don't do this level of coaching in Tampa Bay.

Yes he has, although, it could easily be argued that over the past two years, at a minimum, his health has created issues going down the stretch. At 43, Tom is not as resilient as he was at 25, and to think he isn't going to suffer injuries, like the past two years is wishful thinking at the best.

Crazy that he is Brady's OC now. I remember going to the Jaguars game at Gilette back in 2003 and a big snow storm rolled in around half time and the Jags fell apart in the second half. Leftwich played pretty well but didn't have much help from anyone aside of from old friend Fred Taylor and the Pats run game ended up carrying us through the snow. After that we sat in traffic in the parking lot for 3 hours before we even got on route 1. I think a normal 2.5 hour ride home ended up being close to 7 hours.
