Cam 397 yards passing tonight

He had that one beautiful deep throw to Edelman late in the 3rd quarter. He just effortlessly flung that ball what, 30+ yards down the field? I think tonight's game should answer any questions about his shoulder.

Would be really nice to add an OBJ. But Schefter said that he got told the Browns have no intentions to trade him.
Shyt...

Not to be debbie downer but the real test for his shoulder will be if and when soreness creeps in as the season progresses. It was fantastic to see him slinging it around like old Cam last night but a part of me still worries about overuse.

That will be something to keep an eye on. Does his throwing power diminish when we get into November? Does the accuracy drop off as Cam compensates mechanics for pain management? I sure hope it doesn’t come to that.

edit: to add that Edelman pass was actually like 50 yards in the air on a rope. sheesh. Healthy Cam has one of the strongest arms in the league, it's weird how he never had that reputation unlike a Matthew Stafford.

It's early. Disappointed in the loss - even though Seattle outplayed NE - because of Cam's heroics late. I agree with "running Cam" the final play... but I really would be fired up if they had stolem that game. Holy....

He and Jules had a lot Camestry last night

Cam out playing Brady so far...with fewer weapons. So this nonsense about Brady not having weapons the past 2 years has to stop. Cam had Edelman and some guy name Byrd and almost pulled off a W against the best team in the NFL....

Too bad he didn't have one more passing yard which is what they needed.

Amazing that Edelman set a career high in receiving yards last night - and it was not Brady throwing to him. Didn’t see that coming.

Shoutout to everybody who doubted Cam when he initially got to NE. We told you guys that he’s an accurate passer & that his 2018 season wasn’t fluke. Difference is, he played in two different systems 2018/pre-2018, and was asked to do different things. Once Norv Turner arrived/pre-Watt injury, Cam was Balling! But anyway, shoutout to those haters on this board; they know who they are...

if Cam sticks around it won't take much to go back to the superbowl.

I swear last night's game reminded me so much of what we saw in Carolina for years; Cam going blow for blow in a shootout against a great team with way less in the WR department.

Heard this morning it’s also the most passing yards in a game by any Patriots QB since Super Bowl LII.
