Personally not surprised that Zuber and Hastings are gone that early but I know some will be.
Kessler is gone.Count me in the camp of people super surprised Bill elected to cut down to 80 right away. Figured he would value the extra 10 even if he had to keep them split up. But I guess he values team continuity and keeping everyone together more.
Interesting that both UDFA QBs are out. So it’s just Newton, Stidham, Hoyer and Kessler.
Missed that! When did they cut Kessler?Kessler is gone.
The amount of practice time is going to be heavily reduced. So I think it makes sense to cut down. You wouldn’t have seen it anyway since camp will be no fans and there won’t be any preseason games.I was kind of looking forward to see what J'Mar Smith had to offer. I was hoping he would show enough to make the paractice squad.
Maybe, but wouldn’t you want to get a good look at them in camp if you wanted to keep them on your PS?PS expanded to 15 though. I'd be pretty surprised if neither of the QBs make it through.
For sure. But then, reps kind of at a premium right now.Maybe, but wouldn’t you want to get a good look at them in camp if you wanted to keep them on your PS?
I hope Cannon opts out and we use the cap for Clowney or Beckham.Could be nothing, but the cut all the way down to 80 might mean they don’t anticipate anybody opting out.

I get your main sentiment here. But something feels off about rooting for a guy to opt out when you know his motivations would be due to the fact that he’s had a previous history of life threatening illness. Just feel bad knowing he has to weigh out that kind of decision.I hope Cannon opts out and we use the cap for Clowney or Beckham.
