Was thinking this while weeding the garden (Thanks Covid!!!!)...

Every time BB picks up a former 1st rounder on the cheap we piss our pants, saying what a genius he is and how the Pats will turn him into a world beater.

Well...he just a picked up a former #1 overall that has performed like a #1 overall, won MVP, been to the Superbowl, and is only 31.
All this for vet minimum (1M/year) by waiting out the market. This is pure genius.

What's not to like?

I always thought he was an insufferable "Me first"peacock.
Somehow, now that he's in a Pats uniform, he 's OK (just like Gronk was a knucklehead, but he was our knucklehead).
I think he will find it refreshing that he won't feel the need to carry the team on his back and get beat up in the process. In other words he just has to do his job and believe in the system.
