Antonio Brown to Tampa?

Talk about a lot of mouths to feed if they get him.

My gut tells me that Brady and Gronk are going to play a lot of pitch and catch and it's going to pi$$ off Evans and a few others to a certain extent.

I don’t think there are enough footballs to go around with AB. Evans & Godwin are going to demand there targets.

not going to happen. and even if it does, what difference does it make? You all said that Brady is washed up .

Do #1 WRs maximize earning potential by catching screen passes behind line of scrimmage?
Asking for an agent who represents down-field threats

If Brown is eligible to play this year, then I don't see how Tampa is going to lose the SB if they get him. Evans-Brown-Godwin-Gronk-Howard-Brate? Gimme a break.

Who the f*ck cares about that crazy f*cker possibly going to an NFC team that the Pats don't play this year? To those of you who are so impressed with Tampa: piss off and go to root for Saint Tommy (see no AB evil, hear no TB evil) and the Bucs.

Isn't this forum supposed to be filled with Patriots news/discussion, rather than news about their ex-players? Maybe the MIA mods here are all still tearful that Tommy is gone too? Haven't we beaten the AB, TB12, Gronk and "Tampa's offense is gonna be so sick" discussion horses enough already? Posts like this should be immediately be banished to the Pub, with the sodomites.

The real Pats fans are on to Cincinnati, and have been since April.

I don’t think anyone here will believe this level of hyperbole. Anyone who watched every game of the 2007 season would laugh at this comment.

If you want to rate Moss/Welker as high than Evans/Godwin. That is at least defensible

But AB is so far ahead of Stallworth/Gaffney that its not even funny.

And we haven't even mentioned Gronk.

Or the fact that they are going to be facing defenses that are little better prepared than 2011 due to COVID.

That offense would score on anyone if true

If the Bucs sign AB. In terms of offensive skills position players: The 2020 Bucs make the 2007 Patriots look like the 2019 Patriots
Bucs still need a better running game, but yeah they would be pretty damn good should this AB signing happen...

Going to be fun to watch them go one and done. If they even make the playoffs.

Tampa has made it clear they aren’t interested in Brown. I’m sure Brady wants him, but Arians has zero interest.

How about this trade:

Patriots trade RB James White
Bucs trade a 4th round pick

I imagine the Patriots are getting ready to move on from White. He's 28 and has one more year left with a 4.5M cap hit. They have Damien Harris coming off of the standard rookie redshirt season. For the Bucs, White might be worth and provides a huge boost to the offense, as he is so familiar with Brady and is a valuable third down back.

I actually kinda like it.

Hate this trade for Howard I’d consider it

2007 Brady & 2007 Moss is arguably the best QB-WR year in the history of the League. 2020 Brady and 2020 Evans don’t even register on any such list. We have no idea what 2020 Gronkowski will look like.

You put too much faith in Brown’s ability to stay on the field. The athletics is concern #5 with that guy.

I can’t be the only poster who thinks projecting the 2020 Bucs offense anywhere near the 2007 Patriots is a massive stretch.

I think people should be open to the idea that Howard just isn't that good. It happens.

This might all be for naught...

Don't underestimate Scotty Miller in all this.

I don't see them adding Brown because there is actually no room for him there. Not unless he's willing to just be a 3rd wheel substitute.

Why would he be a 3rd wheel substitute? He'd be their best WR, even with Mike Evans on the team.

Tampa should probably steer clear, but as an NFL fan it would be fun to watch as it would increase the 'hype level' surrounding Tampa Bay.
