You asked a question, I answered. I didn't say he never tried to jump on a fumble. I just said that defending him not jumping on that fumble on that stage is indefensible.

Uh oh trigger warning for the Bradyites!

I hate it how quickly people turned on Brady. I’m as big of a Brady fan as anyone. At the same time I honestly feel a bit relieved that Tom moved on elsewhere. The past three years of reported, and apparently true animosity between Brady and Belichick has been tiresome.I figured Brady would lose a few supporters on here but the way a large portion of people have turned on him is insane to me. I honestly wonder if our fanbase is dumber than others.
And you and the rest of the Brady rump smoochers would be defending Brady if he had the exact same reaction to a fumble so what’s your point?
Wait, was Newton working out with OBJ during social distancing? Where is the outrage? @Brewskies have you seen this???

It is perfect and I am going to enjoy watching this fascinating unintended social experiment the Patriots have blessed us with. You can already see it. The comments are innocuously coming out, those who are overt are easy to spot, the interesting ones are those with implicit bias and are not aware. This is going to be a nice ride for me and I can't wait. I will pay particular attention to comments and radio callers when we lose a game and Cam happens to be the QB.
But he has BB and I am not that worried for him in this regard. This is one aspect of BB people are not aware. BB, like father like son. It's sad though because all that hidden prejudice and bias and low tolerance for anything less than perfection on and off the field for this starting black QB... this is such a sure thing about Boston I wish I could buy stock in "Boston will turn on their starting black QB within a month"
I agree, after having Brady at QB all these years that do is just what.Should've put a clause in his contract that requires him to get rid of that terrible hairstyle.
With that said it's a lot easier to get rid of a QB than to convince an entire town to fix its ****That sounds more like a Boston problem than a Cam Newton problem.
I would agree except that Cam's playstyle does not age well.I still think if theres a season, barring injury its likely Cam is our starter. I'd be fine with Stid too, but if Cam can return to form and play very well... id be fine with Cam as our future QB. Depends on how he plays, but if he plays well... why let him walk in 2021? I'd rather have 3-5 seasons of good QB play under Belichick than an unknown with Stid. Again, this is only if he plays and returns to form.

it's 1 year.....my bet is that he realizes that he's going to have to become more of a pocket passer if he wants another big contract.
again, it's 1 year, and it's a cap-strapped transition year
and sucking on purpose does not work
The person I was responding to was talking about keeping him beyond this year. which even if that wasn't putting the cart about 20 miles past the horse, there's other issues with.it's 1 year.....my bet is that he realizes that he's going to have to become more of a pocket passer if he wants another big contract.

And doesn’t happen either.
