I figured Brady would lose a few supporters on here but the way a large portion of people have turned on him is insane to me. I honestly wonder if our fanbase is dumber than others.

I hate it how quickly people turned on Brady. I’m as big of a Brady fan as anyone. At the same time I honestly feel a bit relieved that Tom moved on elsewhere. The past three years of reported, and apparently true animosity between Brady and Belichick has been tiresome.

Tom gets to go to Tampa and be happy with some great weapons. I’ll be rooting for him to kick ass and if it’s not the Pats I’ll be rooting for him to win it all.

At the same time it is nice to see Cam in Foxboro with Belichick. It will be fun and interesting without a doubt.

Did you watch the video of Brady and his team workout and see how close they were? Did you watch the video of Newton's work out with OJB, and how far apart they were? Did the NFLPA medical staff complain about the Newton workout as they did with the Brady WORKOUTS? Hello

It is perfect and I am going to enjoy watching this fascinating unintended social experiment the Patriots have blessed us with. You can already see it. The comments are innocuously coming out, those who are overt are easy to spot, the interesting ones are those with implicit bias and are not aware. This is going to be a nice ride for me and I can't wait. I will pay particular attention to comments and radio callers when we lose a game and Cam happens to be the QB.

It's sad though because all that hidden prejudice and bias and low tolerance for anything less than perfection on and off the field for this starting black QB... this is such a sure thing about Boston I wish I could buy stock in "Boston will turn on their starting black QB within a month"

I do have to wonder if Newton fully realizes he has to throw to players like Harry, Meyers, Sanu and LaCosse all of which cannot get open, run the correct routes or catch the ball.

I still think if theres a season, barring injury its likely Cam is our starter. I'd be fine with Stid too, but if Cam can return to form and play very well... id be fine with Cam as our future QB. Depends on how he plays, but if he plays well... why let him walk in 2021? I'd rather have 3-5 seasons of good QB play under Belichick than an unknown with Stid. Again, this is only if he plays and returns to form.

Yea BB has no bias he's like a Vulcan. I meant more the rabid regional media and fanbase that can absolutely destroy a minority athlete who isn't perfect in every way due to a lower tolerance bar.

The person I was responding to was talking about keeping him beyond this year. which even if that wasn't putting the cart about 20 miles past the horse, there's other issues with.
