may he rest in peace, and the poeple responsible for his premature death, be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law
Prayers for his family and those close to him

Always brought a smile to my face....because of an “Onion” article about that pats team. It was about, “who are these guys?” The author called him Rick Caldwell. Sorry to hear he was murdered, hope whoever did it burns in hell.

So sad...riposa in pace...
:(

When I saw this I was very sad. RIP

Unsettling to say the least. RIP.

:(

This is a person who did everything they could to climb to the top of the football mountain, and made it into a league that very, very, very few make it into. He was a family member, he was a son, and he was a part of our team. Whatever unfortunate events that he got into after his career cannot define him - it's our duty to make sure people remember him fondly.

Rest in power, Caldwell.

RIP, came up big against San Diego in playoff of 06 season.

Very sad news. Best wishes to his family in this time.

Awful to hear, especially right now as looters are feared to start going into residential neighborhoods.

Seems like he was targeted and/or knew him.

There’s more to the story.
@chasa and @Nunchucks what's with the "dislike"?

Very sad to hear about this. Way too young. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Reche Caldwell was more productive than most FA receivers brought in by the Pats. I liked him when he played here. I'll never forget his catch in the 06 AFC Div Game...

That game in 2006 was the last road Pats playoff win until the 2019 AFC title game in KC iirc...

Rest in Peace and may God Bless you soul
