Yes they did, but that totally bogus OPI hankie was absolutely the Beginning of the End...They lost the game for more reasons then that.

No not really. Nothing wrong with the pass. Maybe not a touchdown. He dropped a very catchable pass. Pretty straight forward.
Yes, Brady’s pass was catchable, but it wasn’t a guarantee Caldwell was walking into the end zone with Bethea now near and won the game which is the narrative.
I'll have to take a look at that again.Yes they did, but that totally bogus OPI hankie was absolutely the Beginning of the End...
It definitely felt like the refs when into AI mode and started calling bogus penalties with the "face guarding" being the most famous one to allow the Colts to catch up.That game felt like a video game where the built-in computer algorithm fixes it so the person in the lead won't win or at least will experience a tremendous amount of bad "luck" to equalize the competition.
The refs fixed that goddamn game. It was a farce and the worst screw job of the Brady era. **** the Colts...they didn't deserve to win any championships. And that game showed why the Patriots were always better despite getting hosed by the refs. Brady was 10X better than Manning when it mattered, despite playing with a collection of castoffs and misfits. Manning choked like a dog but got bailed out because the advantages he had became so overwhelming.
I overlooked what you said in bold. My bad.How do these two quotes differ?
That's a pretty good article. They talk about how that dropped pass haunted him but it also demonstrated his character. He seemed like a good guy who made a couple of big mistakes but also took full ownership of them. Anyway I hope he can rest in peace now.
