Reche Caldwell shot and killed

Yes they did, but that totally bogus OPI hankie was absolutely the Beginning of the End...

That game felt like a video game where the built-in computer algorithm fixes it so the person in the lead won't win or at least will experience a tremendous amount of bad "luck" to equalize the competition.

The refs fixed that goddamn game. It was a farce and the worst screw job of the Brady era. **** the Colts...they didn't deserve to win any championships. And that game showed why the Patriots were always better despite getting hosed by the refs. Brady was 10X better than Manning when it mattered, despite playing with a collection of castoffs and misfits. Manning choked like a dog but got bailed out because the advantages he had became so overwhelming.

How do these two quotes differ?

No not really. Nothing wrong with the pass. Maybe not a touchdown. He dropped a very catchable pass. Pretty straight forward.

Yes, Brady’s pass was catchable, but it wasn’t a guarantee Caldwell was walking into the end zone with Bethea now near and won the game which is the narrative.

I'll have to take a look at that again.

It definitely felt like the refs when into AI mode and started calling bogus penalties with the "face guarding" being the most famous one to allow the Colts to catch up.

It was unfortunate they had the flu and injuries at LB. Had that not occurred, even the bogus calls wouldn't have been enough for the Colts to win.

I overlooked what you said in bold. My bad.

"No not really. Nothing wrong with the pass. Maybe not a touchdown. He dropped a very catchable pass. Pretty straight forward"

That's a pretty good article. They talk about how that dropped pass haunted him but it also demonstrated his character. He seemed like a good guy who made a couple of big mistakes but also took full ownership of them. Anyway I hope he can rest in peace now.

Posting the article which is anything but flattering, in a Memorial page is despicable. It shows the lack of character that certain people have.

99% of the sporting press HAS no character. We've known this since 2006.
