2010 is underrated imo, could of went undefeated again had Moss gotten over himself with all those weapons on O, Gronk, Hernendez, Welker, Jules.

Terrible list by the Herald.

1. 2007
2.2012
3. 2017
4. 2015
5. 2011

2010 team wasn’t very good. They had limitations at receiver, rookie TE’s, average running game, statistically the worst defense of all time, but happened to strike lightning and go on an unlikely run to the #1 seed.

Pats win the Super Bowl easily in 2006/7 if the entire team isn’t sick vs. Colts.

The 97 Pat's get overlooked. #8 in offense and defense in the NFL and a bad bledose int vs Pittsburgh away from 11-5 and hosting the AFC div game vs Pittsburgh.
They hold a special place for me bc it was really the first time in my life the Pats put together 2 good seasons in a row and won playoff games...85 and 86 also good but didn't win a playoff game in 86...

They wouldn’t have beaten the 1997 Broncos.

2007 is surely the greatest non-champion team ever in any sport.

Always thought the 2015 was the very best team of the most recent winning teams. It was rolling and pounding. Sadly, so so many injuries derailed that squad.

D Lewis was magical until his injury. Loved that team.

True, but they were really lucky to even be there.

To me the departure of McGinnist before the season was key. No way he would let them slouch so bad in the 2nd half, sickness or not. May have even made a difference in 07. One of the few players that was much more than just next man up.

Oh and the refs......so bad. That Pats team would of wrecked Chicago.

One of my favorite non SB wins was beating the chargers. The fact Troy Brown of all people was mocking the lights out dance and gloating after the game tells you how ****y the Chargers were.

2007 first
1976 second

1985 and 1996 are also on my list

3. 2015

2015 due to injuries and throwing away the season in Miami.

According to McGinest, he told LT on NFLN why the Pats mocked them and it was because the Chargers were talking a lot of sh** during their ‘05 meeting. Chargers beat down the Pats 34-17 and the Chargers were telling them “their time is up” or something like that.

Or if Bug Eyes held onto the ball...
TB gets plenty of blame for spacing out and not noticing that Bug Eyes was waving his arms in the air telling Tom to hike the ball which could’ve resulted in a walk in TD. By the time he noticed, a defender was near but Bug Eyes would’ve got nice chuck of yards.

Or if they don't call OPI on Hobbs....

Or if they converted that 3rd and 4....12 feet damn it....but can't get mad at Tory Brown for it...after he came up big the week before in S.D.

If health is considered and thinking more “what if”, personally see 2015 ahead of 2010. 2007 is of course the obvious #1.

I remember Vrabel calling all of that that out after the game- I think it was Schottenheimer who said it.

Also remember the Chargers pep rally before the game with Merriman running his mouth that nobody can stop the chargers and he would punch Brady in the face and do the lights out dance.

Colvin really let them have it toward their locker room after the game. “They’re lights out! It’s a power outage!” Lmao

Chargers were all class.

Where's the face palm emoji on that call? I went ape sh** in the living room yelling how could the refs call "face guarding". I thought that game was bad until I imploded one year later.

Wasn't Brown mauled by Marlin Jackson?
