DRAFT Pick 37, Patriots Select Safety Kyle Dugger (Division2)

From what I've read in the last hour, he was 5'6" graduating high school, and this college was the only one to offer him a scholarship. He freakin' grew 6 INCHES in college. He'd probably have gone to Tennessee or Georgia is his growth history were more normal.

I hear "small school" I think of a player looking to be a big fish in a lil pond. Hope I'm wrong.....

Leave it to a dog to pick a Digger, er, Dugger. Better that than a Duggar, at any rate.

Bb and his annual goal of out doing his own record of futility and failure with 2nd round db screw ups!

I thought he hit rock bottom with the joejujaun pick last year.

but this year he picks a db with no chance of direction skills! Very painful!

A little surprise, but he had a great senior boll. Can tackle, critical skill in a league where receivers feed on yard after the catch. With proper training and Belichick regiment, i hope he makes it to stardom. I am aware that most past draft pick aren't even on the team anymore.

A safety that wasn't even on a bunch of people's boards taken in the 2nd round? Who would've thought?

We took him at #37

Here's where these draft analysts had him ranked:

Matt Miller, Bleacher Report - #41
Chris Trapasso, CBS Sports - #29
Steve Reynolds, Draftek - #44
Charlie Campbell, Walter Football - #41
Dane Brugler, The Athletic - #45
Mike Dussault, PP - #32
Evan Lazar, CLNS Media - #33

A high second round pick on a special teams demon! Ugh!

maybe the dog did make this pick and not bb!

Wow. I don't even know that school existed.

I never heard of him but apparently he led the Senior Bowl in tackles.

Classic second round DB pick by Belichick.

Damn, I too was 5'6" graduating high school. 7 years later, still 5'6"...

Hey I just thought of something good about Kyle Diggler:

He's better than little Josh Uche.

Whoop de damn doo...

I know its D2 but look at the guy's tape - Beyond impressive and exciting. This is not your typical "Rutgers DB pick" at all...

I wish it does end up like when we drafted Devin McCourty !!!

I hope Dugger can be that DII safety we had from Richmond that I was high on a couple of years ago.
