I tried to do this exact trade today on the mock draft pfn and it wouldn't let me.

Honestly there will be a lot of good players at 37 and they can move up to get Hurts too

I think we all saw that coming. Instant reaction of course people are going to be disappointed but I think it makes sense. BB was never going to have a dip between the #23 and the #87. Probably got a #2 and #3. I mentioned in an earlier post that this draft was deep at rounds 2 and 3, I like upping the odds there despite the fact there are some really attractive prospects on the board here.

100% agree. 37 and 71 added to the rest of their haul gives them so many picks between 37 and 139. Tons of good players in that range. Gonna be great.

I would be happy trading that first into next year or trading down 5-8 picks. 14 picks is a lot to trade down considering the guys on the board. A lot of high end falling talent.

We now have an early 2nd. Can keep 71 and easily trade 2 of the other 3 to get back into the 2nd.
