Over the years exiting players have taken a lot of grief on the board especially going to a rival or trashing the organization on the way out. Rodney Harrison, Matt Light, Kevin Faulk and Troy Brown who ended all ended their careers here are in the HOF and Richard Seymour who is getting into the Pro-Football HOF isn't. Law and McGinist who are around the team a lot more are "Patriots again".

I think there's still venom for AV going to the Colts, admittedly I was pissed for a few years after it happened. Welker has the double curse of the drops and going to play with Forehead. Lawyer starting out with that 31-0 shelling was certainly hated and the 31-0 payback was flipping awesome.

But in time all things end. About the only players I still hold a grudge against even a little are Dion Lewis because what he said wasn't just against the franchise but his teammates.

Then there is Nick Buoniconti who I'll get killed by the old timers but as a kid watching Inside the NFL I thought he was so smug and I've always considered him a Dolphin not a Patriot. Again for those who remember him as a Patriot we'll have to agree to disagree on him. It's more my hatred for all things Shula. I hated Len Dawson on this show as well as a side note. They were both just so smug to me. I admit it's a bit unfair that I forgive Mike Haynes for going to the hated Raiders and winning but I remember him playing and how good he was. But he's a bad as Morris or Csonka for me.

Irving Fryer is the last one. Again he went to play for Shula and was so smug and then showed his real colors scamming people and getting 5 years.

Butler, Milloy, Mankins, Seymour, AV, Welker....It's all good for what they did for the franchise.

Still disappointed in Sam Cunningham running out of bounds on first down against Raiders in 76, didn't convert and Raiders scored to win with seconds to go. Sam, lower your shoulder, get those 2 for a first down.

Disappointed in Brady for leaving.

What did Dion say about his former teammates? All I remember is him saying the team was too cheap to pay him.

Not too big of a list.

AB
Ulf Samuelson
John McNamara
Victor Kiam
Bob Stanley

Love/Hate: Jeremy Jacobs,Red Sox ownership, Billy Sullivan, Manny Ramirez, Tuuka Rask, Glen Wesley, Dustin Pedroia, Malcolm Butler, Gost, Ray Allen

I wouldn't have had the balls to be the first to say this but I whole heartedly agree.

It won't last. He's still my favorite player but I'm mad at him right now.

Aaron Hernandez
Tony Eason

I thought about AH.

He's on a whole different level.

He doesnt deserve to have a grudge held against him.

There’s really no fair reason to hate Malcolm Butler for anything at all.

I had an issue with Ty Law,leaving to feed his family, but in time, with me growign, i am fine with his leaving
the NFL is a business, and loyalty doesnt matter, the owners will screw you for a nickel but please dont plead to me, as you make your millions and the owners billions, crying poverty

Respectfully, that's bullspit. No one, not even Kiam and Sullivan (who I left off because the subject was players), deserves it more.

Except Kiam and Sullivan are not players in the strictest sense of the word.

For me he falls under crimes against humanity.

Sports-related grudges only is my list.

I partially agree with RW on Hernandez. It's just another level. Between getting sodomized and abused as a child coupled with the CTE the guy just wasn't of sound mind. Does that absolve him of his actions? No. Does it buy him some compassion? At least for me a little. Nowhere near that of the victims and their families and what he put them through.

I just think Hernandez by the end between his childhood, the drugs, the gangs and the CTE was out of his mind or to be more specific has major brain damage.

I wouldn't include guys who got traded/cut by Bill (Seymour, Law, Milloy, etc) or who Bill drove out the door (Butler), as it really wasn't the players choice (You could argue Milloy for not accepting to take a paycut and restructure his contract, but I'm not holding it against a player).

Butler I have no ill feelings toward. It's BB handling of Butter that I have a problem with. There was no way Butler could have returned to the Pats after that SB failure.

Now AV, he left because he wanted out of the cold and in a dome... I was pissed at him for years.
