Hopefully they get knocked out in the opening round or before Stamkos returns. Think the B’s will beat them as they are the better team but hockey is a different animal come playoff time. What you did in the regular season really does mean **** based on the many past results/upsets.

I wouldn't count on Tampa getting knocked out this year in the 1st rd.

And for Ganja's sake Butch, it's time already to break up the so-called Perfection Line and pair Pasternak with his countryman Krejci, and give them at least the rest of the regular season to develop; because right now there is no semblance of scoring balance on this team at all, nor has there been any for a long time, and something really needs to be done soon to alleviate the dependence on one line for so disproportionately much of its goal production.

Rask is a legit "1" but that doesn't mean I have him confused with Dryden or Brodeur. He will stop 95-99% of the pucks he should and miss or stop the occasional one he shouldn't. Like any "1" from time to time he can steal you a game or lose you one. How that impacts a playoff series is largely dictated by the play of the team in front of him.

OFC it isn't. When has Jeremy Jacobs been anything other than the Ebeneezer Scrooge of Boston sports owners? Personally I was surprised when Delaware North announced they were doing anything other than directing employees to their nearest unemployment office.

Jeremy Jacobs is a miserly bastard, his only redeeming (loosest possible sense of the word) quality is he has never pretended to be anything else. There are plenty of owners in sports, in the NHL the Pegulas come immediately to mind, that take great pains to publicly paint themselves as beneficent while busily milking the cow dry. At least Jacobs is on record saying it's about profit. I may despise the skinflint but at least he isn't a hypocrite about being one.
