Didn’t think there was chance they were going to land Kreider in a trade but was hoping for a all in approach. He just signed a 7 year deal with Ny which puts that to rest. Don’t even know if he was available like some believed.

Yeah I didn't really ever believe that Kreider would be dealt here either...I'm more sad that Sweeney didn't offer NJ the 5th-rounder Barfalo gave them for Wayne Simmonds.

From everything I saw it seemed like any trade of Kreider was predicated on if he and the Rangers got a new deal done.

I was just relieved that he didn't break a knuckle, especially when he had to leave the penalty box to have his hand attended-to...same with Chara, who appeared to block a shot with his hand.

Bruins are still Way too careless with the puck, as if they're waiting for somebody else to take it.

Solid top to bottom road game shutout of a good Islanders team today. It wasn't so much what the B's did this afternoon as how they did it. They simply took the Islanders game away, playing fantastic positional hockey and killing it in front of Rask.

Strange game. Vasilevskiy kept Tampa in it through the first 2 periods tonight, Rask preserved the win for Boston in the 3rd.

TB barely got out of the teens in terms of shots on goal, so kudos to the Bs for their part in that. These two teams are going to play an awesome series in round two of the playoffs.

Boom, nice goal to go into intermission. Getting killed in the face off department but outshooting TB. This is a prove it game for the Lightning so I knew they’d play hard. If Bruins pull this out TB goes home with their heads down with a lot of doubt.

Hopefully they get knocked out in the opening round or before Stamkos returns. Think the B’s will beat them as they are the better team but hockey is a different animal come playoff time. What you did in the regular season really does mean **** based on the many past results/upsets.
