Sometimes I find Buck to be annoying as well. I like Aikman, but sometimes he talks too much.

Aikman is underappreciated in the booth, IMO. He's knowledgeable and very professional, and I respect that he chose the game announcer route rather than the much easier buffoon-in-the-studio route.

Aikman is very good, but how can you not like Joe Buck?! He is incredible at every sport he does, maybe my favorite announcer, too bad I rarely get to hear him do football, especially lately.

Aikman is great as a color guy. Buck, on the other hand is intolerable. To me he (next to Costas) is the most annoying announcer, period...(I know Costas doesn't do play by play)...but it is quite obvious the two (Costas and Buck) are utterly in love with themselves...

Buck is a play-by-play guy, Kornheiser and Madden are color commentators.

Buck Yuck!

His over-the-top response to the Moss fake mooning incident pegged him as purse-lipped Mrs. Grundy for me. I thought Moss was a jerk, but to listen to Buck you'd think he was satan incarnate.

He just wouldn't stfu.
