OT: NHL asking teams about arena availability until the end of July

Hearing as part of the #NHL's due diligence process, teams have been asked to provide arena building availability through the end of July.

Ice conditions up north are going to be rough come playoffs

They are using the words hope right now. I hate that. I know ice and venue issues will be major issue in July.

Might be interesting to watch playoff hockey in late June....ditto for NBA too...

Could be perfect in keeping us busy up to the Olympics...then training camp.....

I wonder about baseball....minimal interaction between players with hitters/catchers/umpires being close to one another....maybe the 1st base man, 1b/3b coaches....
