I saw that terrible movie Draft Day with Kevin Costner. Anyway, that’s what Joe Burrow reminds me of, that stud quarterback who was the consensus #1 and appeared to be flawless, but there was just something you couldn’t quite put your finger on for why he wasn’t the right guy to lead your franchise.

Then again he kind of looks like Andy Dufrense.

So I’m split on whether or not I’d take him #1.

Just a reminder. Clemson came into this game with the #1 Scoring D and #2 Total D. Just goes to show how little that matters in college some years.

There are a number of #1 Ds that could have partially shut this LSU offense done in years past. Last years Clemson D and recent years Alabama Ds come to mind. This year though? I don't see a team that can keep them under 40 unless they beat themselves.

When will we see white CBs make a comeback? It is one of the only spots in the NFL that still has almost no parody. I only mention it cause the guy who missed that pick 6 was white and i found it surprising.
