A very good yet flawed defense playing against a well conceived offensive plan, and a Patriots’ offense that can’t score TDs in the red zone.
This isn’t a “Brady” problem. It’s a “team” problem; this team hasn’t played very well in the 2nd half of the season and they’ve gotten the results they’ve deserved.
Whether Brady is 42 or 32, this would still be the same outcome given how the *team* executing.
Well, the thing is, we don't have anyone else. This front seven is the best front seven we can field, and if they are not getting it done then I don't know what else Belichick can do to stop Derrick Henry. The Titans offensive line is bullying our front seven, and it's the biggest reason why we are losing right now.
We need the offense to control possession longer to keep the ball away from Derrick Henry, that's the unfortunate reality and I don't think we will get it done.
It's crazy that just last week, we actually had timeouts and a minute remaining, yet don't even try, but this time we have 30~ seconds and no timeouts, but try to take the ball 60 something yards.
If we lose this game, I won’t even be disappointed. It’s not like the playoff loss to the Jets or Ravens, this team is playing about how I would expect.
