Potentially looking at 2 seasons straight where he has the lowest passer rating allowed

Pats need to lock him up long term this off-season. Someone will absolutely spend a 1st to sign him as a RFA after 2020.

Was he injured or in trouble during his college years? ( I forget)

For getting arrested for robbery or something, hope we lock him up before he's a free agent.

Worst case at least we'll get a 1st back from an undrafted signing.

Players exceeding my original expectations :
JC, Guy, Gilmore, JMac, J Jones...

Didn’t Jackson have legal issues at Florida and didn’t he run a slow pro day time?

Jackson is essentially a CB1 on most teams, and is only lower on the totem pole because of Gilmore being an insane talent. Because of this, his matchups don't stand a chance.

And this is not at all an attempt to diminish his success, in fact, it's quite the opposite.

well after this season he is no longer our best kept secret . Every team knows what he is capable of and some team will throw a lot of money at him. I really hope we can lock him up before that happens .

It has to be a priority because Gilmore has a huge salary hike coming up as well as the ol' 30th birthday. The way we took care of Jonathan Jones is encouraging.

This kid should have earned one or two pro bowls or all pro teams. How isn't he well known yet ? 2 straight years as the lowest qb rating against.

.

it may be my mistake but I thought JC won't reach restricted free agency until 2021? If that's the case then teams throwing money at him next season must REALLY just like JC Jackson as a person and human being

That's what I though too but maybe I'm wrong, its been know to happen.

You sure? I think you've been right 4,903 times in a row while I've been right 6,246 times in a row
Seriously, i just looked up his contract. JC is an RFA in 2021 (and the Patriots are getting some serious! production to cap space with JC).

What is even better the past month or even more he is not getting targeted for holding calls. There seemed to be a point he didn't get respect and would be flagged multiple times a game
