Sorry, but I had to play in a poker tournament Saturday. I didn't know they would be playing on Saturday this year. I only saw snippets between hands, so no "idle thoughts" this week. Good thing the Pats won....because I didn't.

I hope you learned your lesson...........

Big Timing us huh?

Great write up @BaconGrundleCandy!

I am just happy Allen missed an easy Knox TD in the corner of the EZ and also over threw Beasley on a crossing route across the middle..both would have been devastating plays. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

And man...Edelman is something....probably one of the best route runners I have ever seen. I think I now put JE up there with Welker....although both are different types of WR's and I still think Welker is the greatest slot receiver of all time.... Back to JE, I don't think anyone has a bigger heart than him....

Good job.

Did the Pats run more screens than all season? Sure seemed like they did and that McD has been saving them up. Those will slow big mouth Kansas City down. McD called a great game IMO. Play action ruled the day and some plays were hard to follow who had the ball.Bills defense looked kinda toothless. No sacks.

I dont see a thing wrong with Bradys elbow. Ball had velocity and accuracy.
Honestly not sure abt the total amount but yea we definitely made it a point. Buffalo really struggles defending them. Bottom 5 in the league I believe?

Excellent post, BGC!

The Pats really came to play in this one!

Brady's was surgical with accuracy we haven't seen in weeks!

After the first series started so well and ended so suddenly, I thought the Pats Offense might be a tad despondent, but it was all business after that. A different team, really! Even when Cannon went down, the O-Line didn't miss a beat! Against an excellent front seven, I might add.

Our Defense was superb again even with Jonathon Jones out. Gilmore, Jackson, Guy and Butler were lights out in this one.

Allen is a Specimen and a kid that is difficult to dislike! Very much improved from earlier this year! The 53 yard TD while scrambling backwards with pressure all over him was jaw-dropping.

How about that GAME-OVER fourth down stop at the line to gain! Allen was wrapped up ... BUT NO! ... a Herculean second effort dive to keep his team alive. Wow!

Great game ... great win!

BTW: Brady's play action fakes were unbelievable. This morning I am going to try to find at least two jockstraps that I left on the living room floor!
Good post like the respect towards Allen. Big time up & down player but he's really hard not to like & pull for. He had/still has many obstacles in front of him but really didn't kill that team with dumb decisons, TOs & panic play this year or at least really cut that bs in half.

And yea Brady's the best at PA fakes, holding that ball to his side so the D can't get a great look at it. He's always been so smooth in that regard.

Yea Allen made 3-4 insane throws but fortunately for us missed a few easy ones too. Life as a 2nd year QB.

I have a feeling 11 will be coaching somewhere after he playing? Who would be a better coach?

All the **** he's been through? One of the biggest long shots that took advantage of every opportunity he had. Unbelievable off the line, could teach classes on that alone. So clean & crisp though no matter the route. Head to toe he's not giving anything away. Obviously smart as **** & one of the toughest dudes to ever strap up. No rookie would come in thinking he's hot ****.

And I say the bolded daily, esp at work bc I'm not that good at anything lol.

He's been here, but lightly. Sometimes the negativity requires distance.
1000%

Some passive aggressive, frustrated, posters I see in here.

From last night
"What really had a + effect was the misdirection/motion in the backfield that caused them pause & bite".

Definitely think this is a theme going forward. You see it every week from around the league & teams just aren't comfortable w it yet.

Hoping we play off it & expand. Motion Harry, fake sweep but use that momentum he has for pass. Ari & a few other teams, SF I think. Will motion their TEs & do the same thing.
Bunch of posters & me brought Roberts possibly catching something. Even if he doesn't we could still use him as a decoy they have to cover.

Ken this is great analysis but it's a lot less organized than your usual efforts with some really weird paragraph structure. Thanks though!
I still lol at this post in the best way. Not being a DH.

Great analysis but I can tell you're either drunk & off your game a bit.

I'm just not that smart or as articulate as I wish I was. Or Ken.

I disagree. You gave a great and coherent breakdown, my unkosher friend!

Seems MacD hits his stride at the end of the year with plays and formations, lets hope it keeps rolling.

I'm hoping we see a lot more stuff off PA. Teams will be keying on the run, maybe too much & I'd love to see us work the mof more. Esp to Harry/Sanu. We definitely need their presence there imo.
