With any kind of decent refs in the Chiefs game.

Pretty amazing with all sky is falling threads and posts all season

Looks like it won’t matter anyway. They’ll be the #2 seed unless something crazy happens. I don’t think Baltimore is losing again, but it sure would, have made it interesting if Pittsburgh played Baltimore week 17 with a playoff spot in the line and Baltimore needing to win for HFA.

To be fair, there has been (and still is) reason to be concerned regardless of record. Up until tonight the offense has looked below average to put it nicely and the run defense very suspect.

They proved that they can bring it offensively against good competition. The question mark about the run defense continues to loom large though.

It’s feasible that they could slap it on the table on offense for a few games like last season but will the run defense hold up against the toughest competition?

They are 7th in the nfl against the run while daring teams to run by playing a nickel base. Run d has hurt them in only 1 game.

And Baltimore would have lost @Pittsburgh if JuJu didn't fumble the ball......

Like Bill Cowher used to say, "There's a fine line between winning and losing..."

Would have...
Should have....
Could have....

What’s most important is we get a win against Miami next week.

13-3 will be a hilarious record to scoff at given the pessimism, myself included.

Who said, you are what your record is? I hate doing the should have could have might haves.

Or maybe even 15-1 if most of the D wasn’t sick v. Texans.

We should have beaten KC (or at least gone into OT against them) and Houston played the game of their lives against us...really the only team in the AFC that I am a bit concerned with is Baltimore

I feel so much better about this offense. If Tom can string 4 more together Early Bird can start calling catering companies for a cookout in late June

If not for Burks fumble we most like would have hung 27-31points and 450 yds on the #2 defense in the league.

That was not the same HOU team we played that beat TB.

3-game win streak feels awesome.

This team has not reached its peak yet. Many players can play better and the whole team can play better together.

It wouldn't have mattered in terms of seeding anyway, as Baltimore owns the tiebreaker, so I don't get the premise of the original post. Beat MIA and we're the #2 seed still. If our O finds itself, which is an unknown, I think we can beat anyone we face. This team was perhaps one WR (and I'm not trying to hijack the thread) from being undefeated possibly.

Doesn’t matter. This team will have to execute offensively to advance. I expect our defense to try and keep us within reach whoever the opponent is but it’s up to the offense to execute come the playoffs.

This team just isn't the same as past patriots teams..... Offense not clicking, brady doesn't look the same... oline is weak, lack of weapons............................13-3.
