WRONG.. Winning this game would have put the Bills in the Driver's seat for winning the East.

Nah, if the Pats lost today they still could've locked up the AFCE by winning next week. They needed to win out to stay in the driver's seat for a bye though.

Fun fact: Current 49ers DC, Robert Saleh, was the DC and brains behind the Legion of Boom.

That historic defense curb stomped Manning's face into grass. Wish I was able to watch that game. Had to work that Sunday. It's just one of those things we have never achieved, sadly. Fortunately for us, Brady dismantled that defense in SB XLIX . That Seahawks team was never the same.
What in the would are you talking about? Sales was a defensive quality control assistant in Seattle from 11-13 not anywhere near DC and architect

The thing that's scary about the Bills is that even when they are losing at the LOS, the rest of the team stays mentally tough and doesn't give up. The team is really gritty. Tonight the Patriots should have won by 17, not 7. That should scare everyone that plays the Bills.

Idk if I agree with that.
What kept them in the game was the burkhead fumble, the 2 opi calls, and a couple of fluky plays that were the only offense they could muster.

Best offensive game since the opening night beat down of the Steelers. Were solid on 1st down which has been missing much of the year.
Liked the aggressive play call on 4th and one at the 40 before the half. Sanu's failure to block ruined what would have been a 1st down and temporarily changed the game.
Was a little surprised BB did not call for a short kick after taking the 15 yard penalty. Seemed like a great opportunity to try and pin the Bills deep.

They managed this game to perfection, and took advantage of every opportunity we gave them. Signs of a savvy team , I'm sure they won't be an easy out for anyone.

that defense was more about the quality of players in it than the actual scheme.

The 2 OPI calls for sure kept them in it. I don't blame burkhead...it was a great defensive play, although I agree with the guys in the game thread saying they saw it coming. I was screaming at the TV but I can't explain why. Very good showing by the Pats. This team is heading in the right direction and may have enough to close the deal.

I’m drunk and feel slightly bad for continuously saying Sony Bustchel. I stand by him being absolutely nothing special and average but credit where’s its due. He actually ran with a purpose tonight. He was running like he had a turd in his pants for almost the entire season.

Two questions;

a.) On the Bills' 1st TD, there seemed to be confusion regarding which OL-man declared as eligible. BB seemed furious. Does anyone have any further details?

b.) On the Edelman pick play penalty...it was called because Edelman "protected himself" by brining his arms up/outward???
A) he was eligible and did so the right way

B) no idea, I still think a bad call but would like to hear more, dont buy Blandheads explanation.

Big nut cutting win, Brady was excellent, best game in a long time ....****ing awesome....Edelman nails as always...YES...NOW IT'S TIME TO DRINK!!!!!
My man....

Have you been watching them every week? The same thing happens again and again and again. It's their whole entire season. They stay in games just when you think they shouldn't be in them. Even against teams like the Ravens. They did it to the Steelers last week. Steelers should have had that game. The fact they lost is the difference between the Patriots and the Steelers. Steelers had the Bills on the ropes and should have won.

How did he stay up? I tell you, Michel would have hit the deck hard. Glad it was Burkhead who got this opportunity.

Or they were not running long pattern routes because he doesn’t have the arm strength at the moment.

Josh and Tom did a great job working with what they had tonight.
I am sure his elbow kept the deep pass out of the plan. TB will be fine as always

LFG!!!!!!

Not BB’s best coaching performance

WTF are you talking about? Very good gameplan no one just shuts anyone out! Beasley ran wild a bit, but in the end it was well done.

I was referring to this game.
Beating devlin Hodges or having a moral victory of hanging in a game aren’t the reasons I think a team should be “feared”.
They are decent. They beat bad teams they competed against decent teams abs struggle against top teams. They don’t do anything that makes them a feared opponent in my view but I would pick them often against other decent teams, just not against playoff caliber ones.
