If we had timeouts i could see going for it. You make the first down, 30 seconds left and the clock is running, you have 1 more play to get into field goal range if you're lucky and we don't have Ghost. not worth the risk IMO - it gave them life in a game we were otherwise in full control
He was isolated against a defender the second he received the ball, the defender broke down and tackled him perfectly around the legs. No player in NFL history would have gotten a first down.
Hate to be negative but that finish to the half was inexcusable.

This team isn’t good enough to let those opportunities slip.
What makes this so frustrating is that it’s basically the same narrative for the past several weeks: hot starts, take control of the game, and then give it away with crucial mistakes.
You’re tied in a game you should be up 7 in. Can’t have that against good teams.
