Bruins 2019 - 2020

No devlin no gronk no andrews. This year feels much worse from an offensive stand point. Hopefully they can get it together.
You gotta dance with them that brung ya. Everyone, including Brady (most especially Brady) should forget those names and focus on what the guys in front of them can do. If it takes "dumbing down" the offense, then do it! In my mind, it's much easier for Brady to adjust than a couple of newbies who are trying hard, but aren't quite getting it. Instead of looking for them to have a "come to Jesus" moment, Jesus should be coming to them (and yes, I am calling Brady "Jesus" in a lighthearted way).

There's nothing more to figure out regarding this offensive offense:
- a JAG 1st-round RB who can't make yards on his own, either through power or elusiveness;
- No experienced FB anywhere in the building;
- a JAG at Center replaced by a Practice Squad - caliber Center;
- a RG/RT pair that is beastly one snap, brutal the next;
- their best TE is 38 years old, and the rest are Practice Squad-caliber;
- Sanu & Dorsett are invisible JAGs;
- Meyers is inexperienced;
- NKeal Harriet's a Bust;
- and this season is Officially Ovah if Edelman goes down.

You're just a little ray of f'n sunshine.
That's why we all enjoy your stuff so much

Bruins win again. Jaroslav Halák pitches the shut out. He's an excellent back up goalie. He could start for a lot of teams.

8 wins in a row!

This remorseless winning machine is somehow the best kept secret in town and when it comes to the media here that's not a bad thing!

No kidding. Don't tell Curran or he'll start writing articles entitled, "Are these Bergy's last days with the Bruins?"

It's obvious there's a growing disconnect between Cassidy, Sweeney, Neely and Bergeron. Don't know how Squeaky & The Douche and ol' Tom E aren't all over The End of Days yet.

You forgot Chara's moving to CT! :)

i have to remind myself. Having the best record in hockey can be very overrated. Just ask Tampa Bay lighting fans. From the best record in hockey by a huge margin. To losing in the first rd of the playoffs. And getting swept.

All of our active pro teams are unbeaten in regulation at home, that alone has to be a sign of the sportspocalypse

LOL, my name is Debbie, but I will lend you the moniker, "Debbie Downer," as it seems so fitting! Just enjoy the ride!

you are right. Everything is flowers show ponies and sunshine lol. and if they lose in the finals again i can just pretend it doesn't bother me like maust. lol.
The problem isn't pretending it doesn't bother you if they lose in the finals - of course it does! The problem is anticipating that they will lose in the finals, in early December, and therefore not being able to just watch the games right now and enjoy what is happening in front of you.

OFC it bothered me when the B's were flat in that Game 7 and let a Cup slip through their fingers. That there's a world of difference in how I define being 'over' something and how some other folks do is what was being alluded to. I was livid during the game that it wasn't more of a contest. Ironically that feeling was what made it easier to put it into perspective afterwards and by the next day my anger and frustration had completely dissipated. Had they lost that Cup in triple OT I'd probably still be po'd whenever I thought about it. The way it played out has everything to do with having more of a feeling of wistful regret than furor about it. For me that ability to contain and be comfortable with my feelings over something, defines being 'over' it.

Obviously other people's mileage my vary :rolleyes:

Who is anticipating they are going to lose? not me. maybe captain stone is. it's a message board. i share what's on my mind. im not going to get to high about how well they play in the regular season. Its fools gold. I've seen to many teams win the presidents cup go nowhere. im loving how well they are playing. just not to much.

Unreal to have taken it to OT but Pasta losing his balance to give up a 2 on none was a tough way to lose it.
