2019 College football season thread

that field goal at the end of the first half was nonsense
Agree but they still got lit up like a Christmas tree. Their defense is just not where it needs to be this year. They’ll return to being one of the best in the country next year and should be the odds-on favorites to win it all. I’m just talking **** while I can.

linebackers an underrated position by some. Need good linebackers. They lost both middle linebackers and they were long there this year.
Same thing happened 2 years ago but they overcame it as LSU and auburn were not as good as they are now, well they actually lost to auburn. Auburn was better that year than this year. Nvm

And one of them is probably the best ILB in the nation. That was huge for them. They’ll be better off next season (assuming health).

Kadarius Toney is a bad man.

won some dough on UF tonight. It would be criminal if penn state, wisconsin, or Alabama made the orange bowl over Florida. Florida is a top 6 or 7 team right now in my opinion. Bu

Here’s a mix of what I think it will look like/what I think it should like

1)Ohio state-locked in playoff
2)LSU-locked in playoff
3)Clemson
4)Georgia
5)Utah
6)oklahoma
7)Florida
8)Baylor
9)Auburn
10)Alabama

Wisconsin and penn state can kick rocks.

I’m different from most fans, I didn’t really see the iron bowl as anything special, I saw it as another game against an sec opponent. Of course it’s always good to to get the win but at the end of the day, Auburn has 9 wins and 3 losses, Auburn is not competing for the national championship this year or competing fo a conference championship. Past iron bowl wins meant that auburn would be competing for either a national championship or conference championship and that’s what made it special. 9’wins and 3 losses isn’t good enough in the sec and that’s really a shame. I don’t really care that this last game that just so happened to be against Alabama was a win because it only means more 4 or 5 loss seasons in the future.

Saban said what Auburn did was "pretty unfair" lol!!

I love it, poor Nick. He's brilliant but **** like this just rubs me the wrong way. Might be time to retire. Maybe Bill can keep him busy up here coaching our DB's or he can help in the film room.

It would be a crime if we didn’t get an Orange Bowl berth. Sadly, beating the piss out of FSU is no longer as fun for me as it used to be. My fiancée is an FSU alumni and gets seriously depressed whenever they lose. Oh well. Sucks for her.

It’s too bad we couldn’t take care of business against Georgia. With a healthy Greenard and Zuniga, we’d give LSU a run for their money like we did in LSU when both were on the field. I think Georgia can keep it tight in the first half but they’re limping in. Not good for them.

I think Georgia is going to find a way to win. I just love that offensive line. Everyone’s healthy in that unit, right?

Franks is leaving UF.

Definitely was a great throw and even worse defense by Tennessee. Hoping he comes to ND?

oh god no. No fan of Frank’s. We have book for Potentially another year. Then jurkovec

I think for weapons they could have the best group if Rodgers returns. They have 2 nasty RBs ready. OL is big tho they'll lose 4 starters I think??

Bowman out of Lakeland is a huge grab for them. Kid is an absolute stud. Parks and Tchio are both four star recruits that should help bolster that OL. If you want to get sick, look at the recruits they stocked up on along the DL. It’s going to be nearly impossible to run the football on that unit.

Miami getting absolutely gouged on the ground by LA Tech. My, oh my, how far this school has fallen. On the flip side, Henderson is a good looking one cut and go/downhill type of runner. You graded him yet, @BaconGrundleCandy?

Tate Martell’s punk ass is in and already running for his life.
