Made worse by forcing the RB to take a DL 1:1 after he'd built up a head of steam. Play design or line calls, something went terribly wrong.

I would be really frustrated if I were a Matt Ryan fan after that last drive. He knows the pressure is there, knows the game is in the balance and he still just waits to get clocked. Newsflash, you've got two seconds to make up your mind, take a chance or throw it away. Just don't absorb multiple sacks. This really shouldn't have to be explained.

Just to add to my post: I figured Patricia would be fired after the season ended but Garrett would be gone tomorrow. If we believe Jones, Garrett is safe for the weekend.... but IMHO, both guys shouldn’t make any major real estate purchases in their current cities.

I started Ian's pool by switching from the Lions to the Bears and from the Cowboys to the Bills. Since I also had the Saints I'm off to a good start at 3-0.

Bears coaching is awful. How can you get a delay of game at this point in the game?

Was that the penalty where the ref stepped in to hold up the snap, leading to a delay of game penalty? That was strange.

Whoever comes out of the NFC East is gonna get crushed by the 5th seed. Seahawks/Vikings/Packers/49ers, it doesn't matter. It'll be ugly.

That team will be the Eagles if they beat Dallas in week 16 to tie their series. Philly has the Giants twice, the Dolphins and Redskins left. Dallas has the Bears, Rams and Redskins left.

The way the NFC is setting up we could see a Rams team with a better record and a win vs Dallas sitting home for the playoffs while a lousy NFCE team goes to the dance. That would be cool.

If any team could play the no respect card this year it's the Bills. They're a much better team than the Cowboys and it showed yesterday.

Nope. The rule says that players OTHER THAN THE FUMBLER cannot advance it when the anti-holy roller rule is in effect. The fumbler can always advance his own fumble.

The holy roller play in '78 was almost as bad as the Dreith theft in '76.
