He did his Sunday piece.I didn't see his weekly Quick Hits column, didn't see him listed on espn.com and a new guy had a post about the pats. Did he move on?
I challenge you to go on twitter and see for yourself
THAT’S IT!!!! Do people not hear themselves? It's literally 50% of the sentences of under 30 year olds contain "literally."
Definitely a pet peeve of mine. It's literally 50% of the sentences of under 30 year olds contain "literally."
But why would you want to? That place is a cesspool, its a sad display of the human race.
Because it’s often completely misused?Definitely a pet peeve of mine.
Because it’s often completely misused?
It's kind of like having to many credit cards. You can visit twitter.com as easily as patsfans.com.
It's used figuratively, but the fact that you can use the word "literally" figuratively bothers people for some reason
Yes that drives me crazy. Someone says "I literally looked everywhere" or "that is literally the dumbest thing I've ever heard".Because it’s often completely misused?
It bothers me more when it’s used but adds no value. For example, “You literally just made my point” really should be “You just made my point”.Because it’s often completely misused?
Hahaha. True but the word is lyrical but seems to be added for emphasis. It bothers me more when it’s used but adds no value. For example, “You literally just made my point” really should be “You just made my point”.
The use of literally added zero value. I’m assuming many believe it emphasizes their point, but it doesn’t at all. Never mind the fact said poster already used the word literally in his 5 previous posts!
Goddamn millennials have control of our dictionaries!?!? Is literally nothing sacred? Wtf is next? Taxis? The dictionary actually changed the definition of “literally” to include “figuratively” because it was being misused so often. Sad!
Dictionaries include definition of literally that isn't literal - CNN

You literally have no way of knowing what people mean when they say literally. My head hurts.
Perhaps “they” mean to use the word “liberally?” I mean it’s pretty much a laissez-faire attitude. In fact, dictionary.com translates the origin of laissez-faire: “French, literally ‘allow to do.’” Hilarious. You literally have no way of knowing what people mean when they say literally.
