Wait, do we have any healthy wide receivers left?

Don’t bother trying to reason with the New England Bradys fans. When 12 has a bad game they fall all over themselves blaming the OL, etc. But when Michel, etc. has a bad game it’s because he sucks.
he's a jag

Lol one is a hall of famer and greatest player in history. The other is a plodding JAG RB. I wonder why Brady gets the benefit of the doubt?

This would require picking in the top 5.

I wish we could pick in the top 5 every year and win Super Bowls too.

I wish Goodell and 31 owners hadn't robbed us of 2 first round picks because of their envy.

Sure, but even had those picks stayed, you still couldn't get Julio Jones or Deandre Hopkins.

Neither did Aaron Donald but that doesn't make him worse than Malcom Brown. Stupid point.

who gives a crap..........Brown was part of an SB winning formula......Donald is not

we have been hiding him on the depth chart for a decade...time to active the master plan

Of course if Slater did have a 120 yard/two touchdown game half of this forum would be blaming Belichick for wasting him on special teams all these years.

we are fine at WR.....I am not worried

So you're saying we would have lost the SB if we had Aaron Donald? I'm not sure I follow your logic.

we probably would not have gotten to the SB if we had to pay Donald what he is getting paid......who do you remove? Gilmore and Hightower?

the pats won the SB because of who they had, not who they didn't have

what did BB say? something like "we are here to build a team, not build talent"

If you take that to its logical conclusion, to include the dramatic drop in roster quality required at other positions in order to afford Donald, then yeah, the logic holds.

a shutdown corner has proven to be more instrumental than a dominant DT

Should have taken Chubb.

Why stop there? Why not list every college prospect that turned into a good NFL player that the Pats didn't draft? Why not bring dissatisfaction and grey skies to every opportunity that presents itself?

This is the narrative line of people who got their football education through fantasy games, or are 6 years old emotionally, or who have miserable lives and use message boards to try and shift some of that misery onto others through trolling, or who have come to believe that Patriots' success is owed to them. Or some combination of the above.

My post is in support of your logic, if that didn't come through clearly enough.
