Game Day Thread Official Game Day Thread- Week 11 Pats @ Eagles

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Hands to the face? He touch his face mask literaly. Cheap azz call

That was the THIRD first down the Eagles have gotten due to a VERY questionable penalty

I heard the call. Jones jarred the ball loose enough for it to move once they were on the ground, which would have resulted in that being an INT under the old rule. But, there was already possession and goal line crossing under the new rule.

You waited an hour to respond to this bro.

Anyway, he had a foot in the end zone at the point of contact. Catch rules apply here. If they didn’t, you’d have one foot TD catches— the fact is, we don’t because we have catch rules: possession/control matters. I wasn’t arguing that it wasn’t a TD, only that there was a case to be made that it was an interception, even if I disagree that it was an INT.

The refs made the right call. Amazing.

They got nothin baby! Just watch the penalties

All goddamn day. Lucky he didn’t catch it

I think he might have had to but that's a defense mechanism some players have. Like jumping into the ball to get everything around it.

Evan Engram had a bit of this that would drive me crazy in college. No on around him, open field. Probably has something to do w knowing defenders are always close by as well.

I've noticed it w other players as well. Again I think 13 had to leave his feet there & probably knew a hit was coming or he'd end up on the ground.
Every coach i had in my life had the same advice

dont jump unnecessarily.

I get it , football is a fluid games and you do what you need to win

that catch was mechanically bad

BOOM

Baba Yaga are back

Good series by the D.

Defense is actually very very good.

Offense is not.

Gotta win like the 15 Broncos.

Did Newhouse switch team?

I see you defense. The football world sees you.
