I do think the Patriots will ultimately win this division. But Buffalo is only one game back in the loss column. Pats hold the tiebreaker for now.

Is anyone legitimately concerned that the Bills could possibly win this division?

It really isn’t. NE has a better record, and also has the head - head atm. I see BUF losing a few more.

I think the Pats will at most lose 2 games - possibly to Philly and KC. At worst they go 13-3 and should be in good shape for the 1 seed.

We're a game and a half up, beat them in their house, and they still have to come to foxboro.

Not as worried as you

Bills have Dolphins, Us, Cowboys, Broncos, Steelers, Browns and Ravens , and Bengals left.
They could go 6-2 which would put them at 12-4.

They will remember they're the Bills anytime now.

I'm not worried, but it is one game. Obviously, if BUF is to take the division, the presumption is that they will win in Foxboro.

another Craptastic thread...

We're in good position, obviously, but if the Bills offense gels then sure it ups the ante a bit. If the Bills could pull off the upset in Foxboro it would most definitely up the ante. But we've been to this dance before. Other AFCE Team looks like they're going to be competition then fade down the stretch. So while I think the Bills look good and it could be an issue if the Patriots hit an abnormally big rough patch, the Patriots bar is pretty low at this point. Simply beat a really bad Cincy and win their remaining two division games (one against a really bad Phin team), 11 wins, that in itself will very likely be enough for the division crown. And going 3-4 the rest of the way would have to be considered a major under perform given there are 7 games left, 4 at home, and the Patriots already have 8 wins (and despite the underperform against the Ravens this D is still damn good).

NE is in the midst of a rough stretch of games right now with PHI, DAL, KC, and HOU as the next four opponents (with BUF coming later).

If BUF beats CLE on Sunday, they will be 7-2 and only one game out, ready to pounce if the Pats slip up and lose a couple of those games.

Of course, it’s difficult to imagine any other team winning the division based on the past results, but it is very much a race at the moment. In my opinion, both teams slip up and lose a couple before playing each other again.

I don't see them coming into Foxboro and winning here mostly because I think our offense will look a lot closer to a top 5 unit once we hit mid November and they are not a particular mismatch for our defense.

No.

Like I said in the other thread that was worried about them, Buffalo will finish 11-5 at best.

They’re losing in Week 16 unless the Pats have already clinched the division.

Um. .if they lose to Philly and KC then the 1 seed is very much in jeopardy. Especially since they would need KC & Baltimore to lose at least one and two more games respectively.

I said they would be in good shape, not a lock. Obviously KC and Baltimore need to lose at least 1 more game...
