They just had a segment on mnf countdown on Brady's future

to be clear Schefter was not "reporting" anything he was very clearly trying to state the facts that

1) he put his house on market 2) trainer put house on market and 3) his contract voids after season

Randy was shocked and said "With what you're saying Adam thats very shocking...where do you see him going?"

Schefter paused and said he doesnt know "but if he plays/not play/or move on but its setting up I'm sure hed have a half dozen or a dozen franchises interested in his service"

Finally Kolber then discussed speaking with Brady about this and she said how Brady listed up other great players who didn't finish career with same team and that "how many people get to work for same company their whole careers...sometimes teams want to do different things and if that's the case, if doesnt work out, so then so be it and so this all bonus time for me...thats how he phrased it "

Edit:

Here is the video:

Probably Kraft is getting ready to move the Patriots to Hartford!

Isn’t he already under contract for next year?

And is buying a house in Connecticut.

Close to the fashion industry and his eldest child. He’s planning his retirement, not to go to another team. It might not happen after this season, but it’s not too far off.

It doesn’t necessarily mean he’s wrong (we will have to wait until after the season to see), but Schefter seems to be working backwards from a conclusion and trying to fit several pieces together to fit it.

That's what I originally thought too but I feel guys like Schefter wouldn't speculate on something so big without some sort of info.

Also when Kolber described her conversation with Brady it really seems to be on his mind

I'll try to find a video of this segment

And he's a Jete fan so how smart is he really?

This is nothing new.

Any year could be. We will see but they said this last year

The idea of Brady ending his career elsewhere really bugs me, especially after trading away JG with the thought process of preventing that outcome.

If that's what he chooses, obviously out of our hands, but it would be a pretty sh*tty way to go IMO.

Something to worry about the day after the season ends.

If they win the SB this year, I think the choice will be retire vs try for a 3-peat. Never been done in the SB era.

good to know I can serve Schefter a plate of dog shyt as long as I call it chipped beef.

If Brady goes somewhere, AB and Gronk may follow. No tax on wages in Tennessee. Could see other players maybe wanting to follow Brady, but never wanted to play under such an oppressive and no BS environment. In such a scenario, I could see Brady being very competitive outside NE.

Kraft and BB brought it upon themselves by rolling Brady for 1 year. Brady should have been on 2-year rolling contracts always.
