Man, I feel so bad for TB...and us!!

This guy works so freaking hard to build relationships, stay healthy, WORK AT A DISCOUNT to bring in talent!!...

And he has very few options to throw to.
The years are coming quick.

Cap room for a later move. That's the only way this makes makes any sense. If Watson were a quadruple amputee, it would still be worth putting him out there ahead of the current TEs.

We'll see if this "later move" -- whatever it might be -- is worth it, but I'd hate seeing them give much away for a partial-season rental. Perhaps there's a chance Watson is back.

He apparently moved his family back up to the New England area so it's really unfortunate this happened.

Also is a one of the nicest guys according to a buddy of mine who works at NFLPA and have met him numerous times.

I hate this decision, was looking forward to Ben getting passes from TB in the RZ where team has struggled. Ben is such a class act too.

I won't pretend to question the GOAT coach though, he obviously knows what he's doing.

Re-read my post. Stidham is the No. 2 quarterback. I was referring to Kessler, the No. 3 (unnecessary) QB -- hence my reference to a third quarterback who never will see the field yet is occupying a roster spot.

I brought this point up in the Watson thread and was told by @DaBruinz that Kessler actually dressed for the Jets game which I was not aware of. In looking at the Game book for that game, Kessler was not listed, so idk. He was also signed on 9/25 and Jets game was on 9/22. Kessler was not active for Bills or Washington games.

Look, @QuantumMechanic -- enough with the drive-by disagrees without explaining yourself. We've gone seasons before with only Brady and a rookie QB on the roster. Why do you think Kessler is so worth a roster spot vs. someone like Watson? All he's doing is running the scout team in practice, he's never going to play in a game ahead of Stidham.
