I really hate when teams relocate because it pisses off an entire city when your team decides to pack up and leave town. It is going to feel really strange to have a team in Vegas next year but I really don't blame Mark Davis for doing it, The coliseum in Oakland has been ranked one of the worst stadiums in the league for a long time. I remember a few years ago, the sewage backed up and that sounds like hell.

Young men who suddenly become wealthy + 24 hour night life, strippers, prostitutes, and casinos

What could go wrong? :D

The NFL is going to have its hands full.

I hate it too, but around here we already said, "Damn, when the Patriots play in Vegas, we're going!"

(Of course, that's why they're putting them there. My husband was in Vegas at the end of August and he made a special trip to see where the stadium is. I can hardly drag him to Foxboro once a year.)

The irony would be if the Raiders actually play better because of the limelight. It hasn't hurt the Patriots to have adversity these past few years. In most respects, all the b.s. has been galvanizing for the team and fanbase.

I'm more worried about Bob Kraft's behavior in Vegas than that of the Raiders.

The City of Oakland is a cesspool.

This is not a highly supported team by its own city.

I don’t blame the Raiders one bit. I was in Vegas last month and they are selling a lot of “Raiders” gear and it’s funny how virtually all of the gear simply says “Raiders”. They don’t want to sell “Oakland Raiders” gear in Vegas but apparently they’re not allowed to call them the “Las Vegas Raiders” yet.

Lol Kraft was quoted as saying he was 100% behind the move.

I agree, which makes his choice in service parlors all the more bewildering.

I have friends with meager net worths who go to strip mall run and tugs....WTF is your excuse Bobby?

Locale simply makes what some players were already going to do, less of a hassle to do. Not worried about them.

well, from the picture you describe, it seems the NFL is not the only one who will have their hands full :)

Kraft can visit legal brothels over there ... see you at the Bunny Ranch Bob.

Handys a bit pricey there for Bob.

How do you know that they're pricey there?

It won’t be that big a deal for Raiders fans in California. Some are actually happy.

I was in Vegas about a year ago and a guy at the table was a Raider fan from Oakland. He said the people he knew were kinda looking forward to it. Gave them a good excuse to make the short trip to Vegas for the weekend. Fans from LA are real happy. It’s an easy 4 hour drive. Head to Vegas Saturday, have some fun, spend the night, drive home after the game Sunday.

Raiders will be a huge hit in Vegas.

Out here in LA, the Raiders were the team most people wanted. LA Raiders has a great ring to it. Rams were second but the Chargers have always been an afterthought.

Players will no doubt be like kids in a candy store out there in Vegas.

Guessing the Super Bowl weeks there will be slightly more interesting than those in MN or Indy.
A rotation of NOLA, LA & Vegas with the odd crumb dropped elsewhere is definitely in the offing. No complaint from me, Vegas & NOLA both know how to throw a party. No one does wretched excess better, sign me up

Bob needs to go to the crazy horse 2. Better looking women.

Pats play the Raiders at home in 2020. They might play in Vegas in 2021 or 2022, depending on seeding. I wouldn't expect a road playoff game, but who knows?

Ever try that Vegas to LA Sunday afternoon drive? A 4 hour drive took me 9.5 hours from Vegas to Anaheim one lovely Sunday afternoon! Nowhere to turn.....

Stop it about Bob. He is not into that stuff anymore, now that he’s in a serious relationship with Lulu and Mingbi from Orchid Spa.

If you're interested in the stadium construction, check this out.

I hope the link worked. There are many episodes.
