RUMOR? Patriots interest in AJ Green?

From the post game thread:

Falcons are 1-4. Sanu???

That is actually a good call. He'd be cheap, a Rutgers boy from the days of Schiano, the Pats were interested when he was a FA and could be had for about 3M at the trade deadline.

The only question is what it would cost in terms of picks since he has a pretty cheap contract but the Falcons would eat about 8M in dead cap.

Isn’t La Canforna usually full of ****? Article says he thinks could push for players “like” Eifert and Green.

If he reports on anything that is not specifically Steelers or at least AFC North you can ignore him.

Those two names put together spell ir.

You could probably sign them, sit them the rest of the season with the intention of just having them for the playoffs and there is still no guarantee they would make it through 3 games without something happening to them.

If they stand Pat (No pun intended) at the deadline, the chances of winning # 7 greatly decrease. Harry may return. But he's a rookie in a complicated offense. Wynn will return. But he's shown to be injury prone. No way you can do nothing. But again, cap space is an issue. Patriots would need to work magic to make anything work.
They could absolutely hold where they are and not suffer for it. They could also make a move if one presents itself but Bill won’t be panicking with the team he’s got. The 06 team aint walkin thru that door.

No on Eifert. I’d much rather have Green or Sanders.

No to Sanu yes times 100 for Ridley.
You guys arent laughing at Chris Conley now.

The Falcons won't give away Ridley and there has been a lot of smoke around Sanu in the past.

Just going with the odds.

Good News:

A league source tells me a fumble call here will not impact the passer rating of the Zero INT Master.

have we ever had a late camp/midseason receiver acquisition actually become a productive player?
AB is the only guy who came in and showed flashes...is any ANYBODY else?

I’d love to have Eifert and Green, but I really don’t see us getting both. Right now the main position of need is TE, Tyler would be a much needed upgrade and Watson hasn’t played for a while due to suspension.

In that case the defense will need to drag the team to a championship (Which I think the defense is capable of). But it will make the road harder.

Lol @ the Falcons giving us Ridley.

Eifert is always injured though. And so is Green. I'd rather get Sanders from Denver.

What about TYLER BOYD, WR CINCINNATI? How about him instead of TYLER GREEN?

Let’s cut the left half of Brady. That’ll save us roughly $11.5M. Heck, we only need his right arm anyway :D

They extended him 75 days ago. He’s stuck there for the long haul.
