Bring in competition at Kicker.

Here's the thing. There IS a problem with the kicking operation when we are kicking extra points for what ever reason. It is just plain STUPID to think that whatever it is, it can be improved on. That being said, he is 7 out of 8 in FG attempts (87%) and to bring in another kicker is long past ludicrous. This entire thread should get the Bill Bellichck death stare.

You guys sound like gambler who lost their $10 bets because of the missed PAT  OR Fantasy Football buffs who lost a game because of the missed point. OR worse yet, like the panic ridden troll of the game day thread  ;)

You are demanding perfection in a game where people fail on EVERY play. Why aren't you demanding we pull Brady because HE damned sure wasn't perfect on Sunday, or calling for heads to fall because the D gave up a TD. That all may sound like hyperbole, but what you are looking for isn't far off.

Kickers miss kicks.....all of them, even the ones you want to replace SG with.

so people cant even talk about it without being derided/belittled/bullied because why? because you dont like it?

Kickers miss kicks
Yeah.

I sure miss the kicks I got in the 60's.

For comparison purposes:

Vs Buffalo

Brady 46% passer 18/39
Ghost 67% kicker 1/2 EP, 1-1 FGs

Brady 0 TD passes ... 0 direct points
Ghost 1/1 FGs ... 4 total points

Brady - arguably one costly 6 point mistake
Ghost one costly 1 point mistake
———————————————————-

Funny how gamblers’ anger is directed exclusively at Ghost

Well I guess BB decided to bring in competition after all.

Patriots clearly had a kicking problem. How that is addressed IMO is what should have been up for debate. Now that the Patriots' hand has been forced, the options available are one, sign somebody and pray they don't suck too much.

Well if he is injured he is injured, surprised he wasn’t on the injury list.

anyways I hope he has a speedy recovery and becomes healthy.

Coming from a guy who wished death on Nate Soldier in a mass shooting....its a compliment. Nobody will ever be the lowlife you are here.

Why don’t you go rub sticks with DaBruins.
You two clowns know nothing about football.

I laughed when I heard Ghost went on IR.
You two clowns were wrong again

But cheer up..... Hockey season is here.

For comparison purposes:
one guy is lined up and directing an offense with 11 opposing players trying to kill him, each play being something new based on down/distance, etc

the other guy is lined up and going to kick a try, something he has done 664 times in the regular season and an additional 92 times in the playoffs.

There is no comparison.

You were not even part of the original conversation so you dont know what you are talking about.

Go wish more death on people in a mass shooting. You are such a lowlife

You have no idea what was going on in my life that day & I had no idea Soldiers son was sick at the time. That post was 2 years ago when I found out my wife has stage 4 breast cancer & I hated the world. She passed away in April of last year & I am raising 2 children on my own.

Not to mention I had cancer at the same time & I lost 80 lbs, had a feeding tube & a tracheotomy.

That does not excuse my post, but one of the mods at the time & Ian knew the truth.

You can rip me all you want, but I hope you never suffer the same loss.

You did not know this & I don’t blame you for being critical of my over the line post.

I hope you and your family are doing better and I wish you peace. Don't let some anonymous posters on a message board get you down. We should all remember to take a deep breath and a step back. We all root for the same team.

You've rightly called me out before too, so it's okay.

It's all good.

I am sorry to hear that. That is terrible. I commend you for defeating it and even more for admitting you made the post and that I had a reason to be angry about you making it. It was the worst shooing in the countries history and you dont know how I felt about it, nor others here.

I am just not sure why you feel the need to take shots at me randomly when you know I am going to respond.

I will keep my posts to the issues with you going forward. You have my word.

Thank you for your kind response.

Hey Joe, all our prayers are with you going forward. Whatever differences we have, we have a hell of a lot more in common.

Now that the Pats have announced they're trying out kickers, I think the best thing to do is try out kickers, for the record.

I have no idea who we sign but I surprisingly think it won't be as dramatic as everyone thinks...
