Pats D still won the game. Check the 3rd down conversion %, the 5 INTS. if you think a team that can't convert on 3rd down, throws 5 picks and gets sacked left and right should have won then you don't know football.

Run defense was not the same without Hightower. He is crucial to our defense.

What I saw was BOTH players lower their heads right before the hit. Allen is 6'4-6'5. Jones is 5'9. Kinda hard for Jones to hit Allen in the head unless Allen lowers his to meet Jones.. And if a RUNNER does that, its on them. And
that isn't a penalty..

Not only is it not a penalty but it was a necessary play. If he doesn't block into him Allen falls into first down territory. This was just a terrible call by the refs.

Hell if you watch the replay you can see Allen lowering his head.

That Bills defense is going to get overhyped after today. But the sad truth is that, while the Patriots OL sucked and was dominated, most of the Patriots' offensive woes were self-generated.

What concerns me the most about the offense was for the most part no one was open. That isn't all about their secondary, but we weren't running the routes that would get guys open, like the Gordon catch. Those were rare in this game

Brady hasn’t thrown a TD pass in Buffalo in any of their last three meetings.

Also, Brady had a 43.8 rating last time they met in Foxboro. 45.9 today. This was also the place where Gronk went ape **** on T. White and elbowed him after the play.

Bills defense is very tough on Brady. Maybe should have seen something like this coming in considering the injuries and offensive issues (running, TE, OL).

If Buffalo had an elite QB, they would be a serious challenge for the division. Their QB was very bad today. Their defense is elite.

Their defense is going to win them some more games this season. There is no doubt about that.

This had the feel of a typical headscratcher loss kind of game, but the Pats won, due to amazing D and ST play. I'm taking that as a positive.

Once Edelman becomes healthy, that will help. Watson will help.
