O-line is a capital P Problem.

Take away Andrews, Gronk, Develin and Trent Brown, and you have blocking problems.

Maybe Karras will be passable eventually, and wow, 6 more games until we hopefully get Wynn back, but no Develin and no Gronk blocking. It's a problem.

Arguably the worse half of offense by the Pats in the second half that I have ever seen.

remember all the talk of without flowers the pats will have no one to rush the passer?

Offense needs a playmaker and desperately. Receivers aren’t getting separation, Tight Ends are useless and backs are OK but not game breakers. I am not sure if anything is available in the trade market but now I see why they wanted AB. I wonder if Denver would trade Emmanuel Sanders?

Clearly watched a different game. I saw TEs blocking effectively in the run game but the Buffalo D still making plays. I saw receivers getting separation, but then dropping balls. Calling White and Michel "OK" is just laughable..

Welcome back, Mr Ben Watson. We need an NFL TE.

Pats were very LUCKY to win today! Hats off to the Bills defense....they are for real.If Bills had a good QB at present they would have won... We are missing Andrews on OL and Develin to block and open holes for running game....probably need to audition several OL this week and perhaps another bruising FB.....Brady seemed off all game tho for most part didn’t have a lot of time and receivers were covered pretty well.....but McD play calling was atrocious and made no adjustments at all...Defense WON THIS GAME TODAY....and has to get all the game balls....and should be off tomorrow....offense should be out there all day practicing after the sh!t show they displayed....and yes I think finally time to bring in some competition for kicking game as Gost is very shaky....dodged a bullet this week....won’t get away with it playing better, more complete team .

It wasn't pretty, but a win is a win and we're 4-0 with wins over every division opponent. Great game by our defense and by Bailey. Our offense wasn't great by any stretch, but I'll take the win!!!

Let's discuss!!!!!!

You don't think they are doing this every week completely unrelated to how games end up anyway ?

I mean give the Bills defense some credit, they knew what was coming their way and played a very disciplined game. The other team is full of professionals on the field and on the coaching bench as well.

Of course they self evaluate on a regular basis; nothing I said excludes that reality. And nothing you said renders my point moot.

The offense didn’t seem well positioned to succeed today, which is one variable among many that contributed to their struggles.

The “blueprint” notion is just so....dumb. I’m sorry, I don’t mean to pick on you. But the “blueprint” is the same as it’s always been.

1. Get pressure on Brady, especially up the middle, with just three or four guys.

2. Have the defensive players with the talent to cover the Pats’ receivers. Play press coverage on them. Make Brady beat you deep when he doesn’t have time to throw.

You do that, you’ve got a good chance to win. Most teams don’t have the capability of doing that. Buffalo does.

It’s the same “blueprint” that it’s always been.

Fair enough. I guess my attempted point was Buffalo just did it. Yeah they have a good D but those arent world beaters. How did Buffallo succeed? There must be more nuance than the age old "pressure up middle with 3 or 4 and cover receivers up". We all know that obv. But Buffallo denied many things today which teams will watch tape on. That's all I was trying to say.

One of the worst games I've ever seen the Patriots offense play. The offense is a serious concern right now.

Defense was great again. The offense definitely owes them a dinner or two.

Run blocking is a serious concern. If your offense isn't balanced against a good defense the result is what you saw this afternoon. Bills shut down the run for most of the game. In turn a light defense playing zone almost eliminates the passing game. Simple as that.

How many of you kept your Jamie Collins jerseys?

What a baller.

I don't get the feeling that JMcD is all that keen on self-scouting.

He absolutely is, and I’m sure he does so often.

But he needs to be especially critical after this game.

Nothing wrong with some adversity. Gotta learn from it.

Chiefs won, so we are still neck and neck. Not even Patricia's defense could contain Mahomes.

Patricia had that game, right up until his RB decided to cough up a 99 yard fumble.

If you don't improve as the season goes on then you're toast anyway.

Edelman isn't Edelman, same as early last season.
Bill's secondary was dynamite.
Line wasn't great but wasn't awful either.

Better days ahead

I wonder if Brady is really hurt. He was on the injury report this week. And he over threw a lot of balls today. Almost no one else played well on offense either, but he looked really off today. And I won't take away from the Bills defense that played extremely well today.

So frustrating. More than that, think of all the FA receivers the Pats brought in...had Thomas and Brown on the team. Now they've basically got the same guys as last year somehow.
thanks bob...

If Buffalo had an elite QB, they would be a serious challenge for the division. Their QB was very bad today. Their defense is elite.
