Bring in competition at Kicker.

Maybe you're right and he just has the misfortune of missing kicks in high profile games and that is why it seems like he is struggling and maybe it will all balance out. I guess it is the reverse of Vinatieri where people only recall the clutch kicks and not the misses and maybe If all into that. I can admit when I am wrong.

Look if this is the start of a trend or if someone will become available through whatever means (draft, FA) that is an upgrade through BB's eyes then Ghost will be replaced like anyone else on the roster.

I just don't see any alternative right now and certainly think that we all have been very fortunate to go from Vinatieri to Gostkowski and enjoy many decades of stability at the kicker position while other teams are changing them out almost every year.

And maybe that luck just makes us a bit biased in our expectations. Same with coaching or QBing once BB and Brady are gone..

He keeps missing them.
Waits for the Ghost apologists.
That was a fine hold.

Obviously he is having issues, XPs are important and points add up.

Damn, this is a real issue

Anybody feel confident with this guy in the playoffs?

He could end a season.

I can understand an aging kicker losing distance - but how do you suddenly lose short-range accuracy?

We should just go for two every time

I can’t stand it when I can’t watch the game and there’s the dreaded “never ending extra point” which turns out he missed it.

Has he missed one every week?

It's really getting sad at this point .

I'm sadder about Ghost's decline than Gronk retiring. It is grim seeing a great player unravel. In the past, I see Belichick having Ghost kick a 50-55 yarder rather than go for it on 4th and long. No more.

Time to draft a kicker.
I really don’t see him back next year unless he turns things around.

Another day another missed kick.

Buffalo wins that game with a TD. And it's all because of Gost. This is now a serious issue.

Absolutely. It looks like he is slowing down right as he is about to kick it on lots of these extra points. He is either lacking confidence in the hold or is worried about screwing up with his motion. There has to be a way to shake off the yips, since this stuff can be automatic for him if he stops worrying so much.

I thought there was an overreaction when he lost the first XP, but now he lost 4 of the last 14 (or 5 of the last 15..can't remember)
There will be a moment that it will cost us a game
