Could Pats acquire AJ Green

If we’re gonna screw with our cap to trade for an expensive player give me Trent Williams.

In Greens case you it would be from almost worse "Bengals* to first.

Green has been rotting in Cincy. Like Amari Cooper, wouldn’t surprise me if he all of the sudden became “Iron Man” on his next team. Cooper seemed to always have a nagging injury and looked washed up. Now he’s a totally different player.

If he’s not traded, he’s leaving in March.

I mean he's great when he plays. But it seems he's always injured. And he's going on 32.

AB is 31 and everyone agrees he transformed our offense. At 32 AJ Green is old-hat?

We should try and get him, and when we bring AB back, our offense will look decent with AB, Gordon, AJ Green and Edelman

Can't wait to hear "More from the Brady Camp" regarding how sad he is, that the Patriots didn't trade for AJ Green - because YAHOO! says yes.

I’d love to hear more as well. More media and news and articles and noise about this the better. Maybe it will lead to us actually bringing AB back. I’m trying to do my infinitesimally small bit to help the cause bu keeping the story alive.

I’d rather trade for an O-lineman. The cut and paste line could have its first test tomorrow.

Metro US news just speculated that the Browns my be shopping AJ Green since they have been unable to sign him to an extention. They speculate Eagles and Pats would be the 2 teams to look at.

Is that a National Enquirer offshoot?

Yes, reposting the same speculative article from Tom E Curran over and over is really helping your cause.

We had a better and more durable WR just a week ago. If Kraft wasn't such a ****, he'd still be on the team and there'd be no reason to give away assets to acquire a sheet of glass like AJ Green.

Or we could just do the math. AB has had 5 injuries in the NFL and missed a total of seven games in his career. AJ has had 11 injuries in his NFL career and missed 23 games so far with no set date to return. Common sense says it is not just an age issue. He has more mileage, poorer health, a higher cap, and is not even able to play right now. Yes, he is old-hat. If you want him, he is a free agent next spring. Sign him then. Don't give up anything this year and have him walk. That would be a stupid rental for an injured WR.

I think newhouse is gonna surprise you tomorrow. There’s a reason why scar is one of the best in the business. These guys just need more reps.

The pats can rob any team of their talent... And they will rob them for pennies on the dollar

Yeah seriously, Edelman, Gordon, Dorsett, Meyers, Harry are more than enough horses @WR for us to win a championship. We don't need help there, we need help on the OL. Our inability to run cannot continue if we want to win #7.

Well those guys upfront have to block better like bill said.

agreed but I think some players we have known for their run blocking abilities have struggled to get back to that level so far this season...

I’d take em’ if we can get em’..
