Tom Brady did make Robert Kraft into a billionaire he is today. That's not really up for debate.

But have it. You seem to really care about Bendover Bob's finances....

It's not complicated. You responded to a person that said Kraft was already a billionaire, and you said he wasn't when he bought the team.

But he was responding to a person saying Brady made Kraft a billionaire. That's not true. Of course Kraft wouldn't be worth as much without Brady and Belichick, but Brady didn't make Kraft a billionaire. You just admitted a couple posts ago he had tripled his investment by 2000.

Beyond that, I couldn't care less about his finances.

Brady is dead wrong. The texts trying to bully and intimidate his accuser was way over the line, and Brown’s bullsh.t drama queen act was never going to end. Good riddance.

How will you feel when Tyreek Hill dances in the end zone vs the Pats while everyone marvels about his speed and doesn’t care about his off field issues? Was his threat that his baby momma “should be scared of him” over the line after he beat her to a pulp a few years ago? After about two months no one cares anymore. The Chiefs even extended him. Think of how much worse that is. Brown is a dink, but not on Hill’s level. Most importantly the team had a whole week to work on his behavior before Bendover Bob **** his pants. The really, actually could be the difference between a Super Bowl win and coming up short.

If Gordon becomes ineligible, the pitchforks will come out at Bob. At least he beat his own rap, though. Hope they leak the video.

Lots of guys piling on Kraft, saying he's concerned about the brand and that's the only reason he cut Brown.

You can disagree with the decision from a football perspective but I genuinely believe Kraft did this, at least partially, on moral grounds.

The guy is far from perfect but I think he has a sincere moral compass that guides him in his decisions, to some extent. A consensual sexual act in exchange for money is not analogous to Brown's texts, totally different ballparks.

He wasn't a billionaire in 1994 and Tom Brady helped turn him into the billionaire he is today.

Everything else your spewing to me is irrelevant.

Oh here we go again. Every year this insanity ensues. 13-3 almost guarantees #1 seed and 12-4 with head to head tiebreaker is also a likely #1.

This is the same old story about the Pats biggest AFC rivals...they might not lose another game all year!!!

I said it's possible. Didn't say likely. That said, there is one game (@NE) they will be underdogs in. Otherwise, they'll be favorites in every game. Patriots could be underdogs @Philly & @Houston.

I believe it was Kraft's decision alone, and a foolish one. He didn't understand the texts in context as he is an aging old man. He heard that Brown "posted" pics of the accuser's kids and he made a rash decision to cut AB because of the media pressure and backlash if he stayed. Hopefully it won't cost the team #7..but they are now a gordon slip up on going from a team loaded at WR to a team that is very slim at WR.

Patriots or KC could go 14-2 and still not be the 1 seed. Crazy to think about.
Doesn't matter though, because they're going to lose to a dogshit Browns team at home, and go 11-5, right?

Brown was no doubt sat down immediately upon arriving in NE and talked to by both Patriots' management and his personal lawyers, and told to stay laser focused on football and leave off-the-field chatter aside.

It took him a whopping 10 days to send those texts to that woman. Clearly the guy fundamentally could not follow instructions and control himself. He was a ticking time bomb, he cannot help himself, and his behavior pre, during, and post-Patriots indicates as much. It wasn't a matter of 'if', it was a matter of 'when'.

If people want to sh*t on the Patriots for having a standard of conduct, holding their players accountable, and releasing them if they do not meet that standard of conduct, that's their prerogative. Personally, I applaud them for doing so.

The Patriots will be underdogs in neither game.

How many times do you think the Patriots have lost to Houston...ever?

The offense had concerns even with Gordon, but yes, losing him would be massive. Since they have no tight end and all these o-line problems, the Brown signing was a lot more necessity and less luxury than the media is spinning it. Bobby probably listened to Max Kellerman’s hot take and then signed off on the release.

He's an employee, not a general manager.

Are we talking about the same person? I am saying Kraft is BB & Brady's boss. He's their employer. And no he isn't a GM. But if an owner of a company is at risk of getting bad publicity over a terrible human being (AB), he has every right to terminate said player.

Looking through history, it appears Kraft saved the team from relocation. He also hired BB. And drafted Brady. He does charity work too. Oh, he also didn't fire BB after spygate. The man gets too much hate.

Tom Brady is an employee. He gets no say in personnel decisions. That's not how the Patriots operate.

Realistically, it's more probable than not they go 11-5 than 14-2. That's a credit to the parity in the NFL. Not an indictment on the Pats organization as a whole. The league is too competitive these days.

2009 and 1978 (the worst loss to Houston ever!).

2009 season finale. But yes I see your point.
Yeah, Welker blew out his knee in the first quarter, and they had literally nothing else. And still took a massive rally for the Texans to win.

Okay? I didn't indicate Brady did have say in personnel decisions.
