Small sample size, but Burkhead was able to get 4 yards+ in his 11 carries. I think they’ve got to throw the ball a couple of times to Michel, mix it up a bit.

I agree and that might be the silver lining of it all. With Edelman banged up they WILL have to start working more on the run game. Getting Sony into passing sets should give him some more holes to run through as long as the OL is not able to open them up as well as last year.

This is where the loss of Gronk hits most. Not his receiving really. Just the threat of him being there for either blocking or receiving forcing the DCs to compromise with their run defenses.

How well Brady plays despite massive issues with the OL and WR continues to amaze me. Zero sacks when Brady is on field with 40+ drop backs. Stidham gets sacked on only a handful of pass attempts. One of his more underrated attributes when compared to other QBs.

Of course it is a small sample size. By that logic we should be concerned about Brady's low throws.

Outplayed em on offense and defense, lots of positives there and against a team like nyj worrying about injuries is usually the main thing so obviously hoping Edelman and Hightower are ok.

The gunner muff if it had to happen id rather it happen now. We have plenty of time to see him learn and respond to it. It cost us nothing besides some aggravation that our d deserved a shutout.

The fg’s and xp’s are something to monitor, not sure if its ghost or him and bailey just dont have the chemistry him and allen had but again, none of them actually cost us anything. Just something to work on.

That’s ok, just saying because a lot of people seemed frustrated with the offensive inconsistency today. He’s an important player and his not being out there probably had an impact on some of that inconsistency. I’m very happy for him though! He and his wife should be experiencing unimaginable joy right now

Disagree, having a couple of those quick trigger guys has always been key for Brady, with White out it was only Edelman, and then he got hurt. So I think White could’ve made a difference.

I didn’t see High’s injury. Looking at JE’s, it almost looked like it was affecting his breathing. Watching his describe it to the trainers could be a broken rib affecting his breathing a little. Where was Bennett? He’s one I expected big plays from but haven’t heard much from him.
