Brady won't stop the game. God, Peyton's whole act was fake.

I forgive Welker for the SB drop. But playing grab arse with Peyton after that record TD? That sh!t was embarrassing.

Manning's entire public persona is so phony, just like that pathetic mid game celebration.

Imagine in Tom’s case the celebration will just involve some extra congrats by the players and then they’ll carry on.

Would be hilarious if the rest of the team gave him the treatment you see in the MLB when a guy gets his first career home run, and players don’t acknowledge him at all as he comes to the sideline until finally giving in after 20 seconds or so.

Brady & I don’t care about this record. Win. That is all that matters. Get those W’s.

17 to tie, 18 to break.

I will pull out my crystal ball:

3-Sep 22nd- vs NY Jets 1:00pm: 2 TDs
4-Sep 29th- at Buffalo Bills 1:00pm: 1 TD
5-Oct 6th- at Washington Redskins 1:00pm: 3 TDs
6-Oct 10th- vs NY Giants 8:20pm: 3 TDs
7-Oct 21st- at NY Jets 8:15pm: 2 TDs
8-Oct 27th- vs Cleveland Browns 4:25pm: 3 TDs
9-Nov 3rd- at Baltimore Ravens 8:20pm- 1 TD
bye

11-Nov 17th-at Philadelphia Eagles 4:25pm: 2 TDs ties record
12-Nov 24th- vs Dallas Cowboys 4:25pm; 2 TDs breaks record
13-Dec 1st- at Houston Texans 8:20pm
14-Dec 8th- vs Kansas City Chiefs 4:25pm
15-Dec 15th- at Cincinnati Bengals 1:00pm
16-TBD-vs Buffalo Bills TBD
17-Dec 29th- vs Miami Dolphins 1:00pm

It ought to happen before the KC game. At home vs. the Cowboys is as good a time as any.

Of course a 5 or 6 TD game would be a nice boost!

He’ll break it by mid season.

He should throw the tie breaking pass of a LB's helmet and catch it himself in the end zone.... or to piss off the league a pitch pass to a sweeping edelman

Over the last 9 seasons he has averaged 2.086 TDs/game

I picked 2010 at a starting point, since he was fully recovered from the ACL and it is a period with similarly-favorable passing rules.

Thus it would take 8.63 games to break the record.

Thus it would be in the Dallas game, with 8:12 left in the 3rd quarter

:)

I hope he breaks the record in Philadelphia and then moons the crowd.

Im going to guess he breaks it against the cowboys.

Who will catch the pass to break the record?
Who would you like to see?
My choice, devlin or slater.

I would just like to say that even if you and Brady don't care about the record, I do. I think it's pretty cool. It's one of the top 2 or 3 most important individual statistics in the sport and is a nice side dish to the main course of the six championships (so far).

It's kind of funny how some of the same posters who are so religious about how Tom Brady will act classy when he breaks the record compared to how gauche Peyton Manning was have been so ecstatic having Antonio Brown on the team.........

.

To bad Brees got hurt. I looked forward to him and Brady battling it out for the record this year. Not that it would likely be settled this year. Of course it is just a temporary record and something nice to get before either retires. It will be broken by either Mahomes or someone else who gets to play their whole career in the new passing era.
