We are on to Pittsburgh and the Raising of SB 53 Banner

The main question here is whether or not Pitt decides to play more man coverage or go with their classic zone scheme. Brady has historically picked apart their zone and I dont think they are completely stupid so I would expect Pitt to play more man coverages. Hopefully we wont have to pass as much and Michel can get going on the ground.

Just read CBS Sports predictions by Will Brinson and he has KC at 9-7.

So 9 picks for KC & 7 for the Pats? Guess that's basically a pickem. It's very possible neither us or KC makes the SB. In 2012, the consensus was that either Denver or NE would end up in the SB. Then Baltimore knocked them both off on route to a SB win.

I honestly think the Jags are going to surprise alot of people.

I was surprised that they would even go back to the fire zone coverage (albeit a modified version) after LeBeau left but they did, and also did it against Brady.

The question to me is if their DB's are of the right type to execute a man to man coverage scheme. Can any of them be left on an island?

I think the Steelers hold the record for watching the most championship banners raised by opponents

The record that the Steelers hope to secure is a tie for third all-time in wins by a QB-HC combo. If they win, Roethlisberger - Tomlin tie Marino - Shula at 116 wins. Standing alone, that's impressive.

In 2nd are Drew Brees and Sean Payton at 118.

In 1st are Brady and Belichick at 207.

I have seen quite a few talking heads picking Ben for MVP. Jason Whitlock just now on FS1 in a Christmas beard begged not to receive another boring present of socks which is a Patriots SB. Then also picked Ben for MVP.
I just don't get the love as IMO the Steelers offense will be average at best.

They're whistling past the graveyard.

We all know the Pats are gonna get Antonio Brown, deflate the balls, cut the Steelers' headset comms, videotape from the 50 yardline and boil Pittsburgh's Gatorade.

28-7 with Stidham taking the kneel downs around 11:32 EST.

Same as it ever was.......

Tom Curran has the Pats at 7-6 before winning their final three games to take the division. Is this guy usually a hater?

Eh. I don’t notice it. Nobody beats Michael Smith. That guy imploded on ESPN.

And the WRs we have this year on the rub routes should kill man coverage - and they can't call offensive pass interference once every game on Gronk either!

I smell a 1st quarter benching............:D

Yeah I don't like talking trash like that. Actions speak louder then words.

saw these posts from steelers fans

I'd assume he feels safe saying this considering Gilmore would be the corner shadowing juju, not him. Regardless I hope ben torches this dude

When I read that article I had only one thought: Who the **** is JC Jackson?

They are honestly gonna act like JC wasn't a big part in holding Smith-Schuster to 4 rec on 10 targets for 40 yards in that game last year.

Broncos actually look pretty good on paper. I'll make the bold prediction that one of those L's is at Mile High Stadium.

HOF QB; solid O-line; solid def front 7. With a real coach they'd be dangerous.
