Well.. if Allen gets cut, I wouldn't be surprised to see him back with the Pats considering the TE issues.

He's been hurt...main reason he's been beat out of a job.Interesting.
From a run/pass blocking standpoint is Allen > Izzo?

You don't care that he's hurt? Now hopefully we can bring him back at a more reasonable price. (If he’s indeed released)
yeah lets bring him back even on 1 leg.You don't care that he's hurt?
It looks like he has $1.3 million of guaranteed money from Miami, presumably with offset language. So I think any deal worth less than that and he'll essentially be playing for free, may need more $ to make it worth his whileNow hopefully we can bring him back at a more reasonable price. Still better than ours, sadly...I'd even take former camp body Clive Walford ahead of Matty LaCost.Dolphins TE depth:
Mike Gesicki - drafted in second round in 2019, 22 receptions on 32 targets for 202 yards in 16 games, limited blocker
Nick O'Leary - had eight receptions in 2018 on 10 targets for 86 yards in 12 games, H-back, started two preseason games
Dwayne Allen - three receptions in Patriots offense in 2018
Durham Smythe - six receptions, 11 targets, 50 yards in 2018
Camp bodies Clive Walford and Chris Myarick
Not a very explosive group...
Definitely Was. ? Is will he be now or in the near future.Interesting.
