POLL: Who is the "Deuce"?

Hoyer but the gap is closing

My guess:
It'll be situational. In mop up play, probably Stidham, just for experience.
If the game is close, Hoyer, to manage it without mistakes.

It'll be a while, probably into next year, before Stidham gets meaningful snaps in the regular season. There is an order of magnitude difference in the processing speed requirements between what he saw last night (non starters, playing vanilla) vs. regular season (starters, playing disguised coverages and rushes).

Stidham before the preseason is over. Hoyer is expendable.

mosslost will always be #2 and that's nothing to piss at.

does Hoyer have trade value?

I think they stick with three QBs. We fans are much harsher on a player like Hoyer than the team, IMO.

He is experienced. He has knowledge. He studies the next opponent and prepares the D... BB loves these types.

My prediction : Hoyer moves on in 2020, but sticks this season.

Goodell. But you misspelled douche.

I think you're probably right. I heard a nitwit on the radio this morning saying that Stidham will end up on the practice squad. My immediate thought was he'd last about 1.3 seconds there before getting claimed. And I'm not basing that on his performance Thursday night. That was one game in preseason against a poor team. But, I think he has good upside.
