For what it's worth I just watched John Clayton on ESPN say Faulk looked fine in practice and he should "be fine" for sunday. He also said Maroney is ready to go and he believes he'll play this week. Obviously this is just Clayton's opinion but he seems more sold on Maroney's availability this week than last. I hope he's right about Kool-aid as going in with Maroney, Morris, and Faulk would be very nice.

It seems his opinion on Faulk is likely correct as Faulk already came out and said he should be ready to go, and he's not even on the injury report.

The fact that Clayton is likely correct about this should in no way dissuade anyone from continuing to KNOW that he is a complete DINK and is terrible at his job. The dumbest brainy-looking guy in the F-ing world.

This is the same guy who when breaking down one of the Pats playoff games last year was asked how the Pats would do without Rodney Harrison and he said they would be fine because they had a capable backup in Eugene Wilson.

All true except that Eugene Wilson was on the IR and had been for weeks.

Now that may sound like a minor error but not really when you consider the fact that this man gets PAID to know football. Its his job. If I sucked at my job half as much as Clayton sucks at his, I'd be in the unemployment line.

He's a disgrace, I would't waste my time listening to anything this ass clown says.

Totally agree. That's a braindead comment on his part. I don't think it's asking too much for a guy whose JOB it is to cover the NFL to know the starters for every playoff team, as well as the back-ups at key positions where there are injuries.

Additionally, while I know the Pats employ their safeties differently from most teams, it's worth noting that, generally, Wilson plays the other safety, and does not "back up" Rodney.

did he say anything on AD?

I'm actually not too concerned about Kook Aid playing this week. The Cowboys are fast on the edge, Morris pounding it is probably our better matchup anyway. Faulk will help on screens. I hope Maroney plays but this isn't the optimal matchup for him IMO.

Yeah, any word on Koppen?
