NBA Draft - Trades - Free Agents

Can’t argue with your take.... but Flat Earther’s personality / leadership issues that infected Boston were on full display in Cleveland ... quitting on his team and refusing to even talk with teammates.
Ainge handed his franchise over to an immature primadonna and hoped organizational ass kissing would help mold him into a selfless leader.
Ainge ignored Belichick Rule #1.... it is what it is

bullsh*t.......BB took on Cox, Dillon, Moss, Gordon, Bennett #2, Bennett #1...hell, he took on Aaron Henrandez fully knowing his prior issues.....talent also makes BB look the other way....so what's BB rule #1?

Feel the same way, the players run the league and decide what team/city gets to win the championship. And some teams like the lakers have an un-fair advantage in getting players.

how so? AD was traded there....lately, Lebron is the only top guy who chose to go there.....hell, even Kawhi Leonard is likely choosing the Clippers over the Lakers.....don't be surprised if AD is only in LA for 1 year

Kyrie's Flat Earth talk and finally telling him to STFU.

Regards,
Chris

That incoherent jibber jabber out of his pie hole drove me nuts. Good riddance.

Kyrie intellect is the size of a pinkie compared to Brown's

Sox had a player here 20 years ago named Carl Everett. He didn't believe in dinosaurs.

I can't stand people like that.

I hope we move on from Rozier he's too small for Point and he also a streaky shootee. We need slightly better than him at Point.

He's 6'1". How is that too small for a point? You don't want a full team of short point guards, but 6'1" is fine. In fact, if their listed measurements are accurate, Rozier is taller than both PGs they drafted last night.

lol.....here's a requiem for ya.......the louder people got the more wrong they were

Celtics trade Isaiah Thomas, Brooklyn 2018 pick & players for Kyrie Irving

the best part is the moronic claim about the C's mortgaging their future to get him......

draft pick would have been insignificant, the wheels fell off the IT bus, Crowder is a relative scrub, and Zizic ain't helping

as I said before, when this deal appeared, Ainge had to do it, but it didn't cost him much even though it's the worst case in the end.......C's are going to be fun to watch again next year......it will be as though they are cancer survivors

Carl "The Paleontologist" Everett did leave us with a lovely parting gift: The CHB nickname. For that I thank him.

Regards,
Chris

don't allow little things to get to you......otherwise, you'll let Jalen Brown's SJW ways eat you alive

Yea I've heard him go all Ben Watson on various issues. Because of their intelligence, thoughtfulness I respect their positions and opinions but I don't agree with all of them.

Kyrie is just an idiot who may have some brains but his ego prevents him for using them

Wilt, Kareem, Shaq, Kobe, LeBron and now AD all used leverage to get their way to the Lakers. Trade demands, poisoning the waters for other teams, etc. Magic was the only of their top guys who was just simply drafted. The trade that got them that pick was a true steal as New Orleans I think unexpectedly cratered that season, but it was an honest swindle. Everyone else was open collusion.

So, according to Jackie McMullan, the Celtics tried to trade up to #4 and got beat out. They then wanted to draft Herro, but got beaten to the punch on that, too.

In other words, if you take Jackie's reporting as accurate, the reason the Celtics draft looks screwy is because Ainge dropped the ball and had to settle for fall backs.

Ainge is playing the long game......setting up for Bron Bron Jr. in a few years
the long game is getting really really long

Kareem was also open to the Knicks

both Magic and Worthy were luck

Kobe only wound up in LA because Dave Cowens had no use for him

The Magic lowballed Shaq

I think your conspiracy theories are getting the best of you

Herro is going to suck.......look up Nik Stauskas

sometimes things work out for the best

you b1tch when the C's do things, you b1tch when the C's don't do things.......but mostly you just b1tch

I honestly think it's a mechanism of manipulation that helps him change situations......when he came to the C's, we all blamed Lebron.......when he goes wherever, they will all blame boston fans and media.......if he wanted to stay and had the right attitude towards his teammates, I wouldn't care what shape he thinks the world is.....but I do believe that you would bash Brown for his SJW if he to wind up on the outs in Boston....I personally don't care about the causes they pursue outside of basketball......flat earth has nothing to do with basketball unless you need a reason to be critical

I detested Irving ever since he did not show up for game 7 against the cavs last year.......I think he was livid regarding the success of the C's without him there.......

but look at him now.......he was going to go to the nets with durant, but now the nets aren't sure they want just him......his 'all about me' season is coming home to roost......you know what they say about karma

Or, it is all smokescreens and most of that is pure theater. Did they have interest in moving up to 4? Sure. I imagine the cost was prohibitive so them “getting beaten out” is truthfully up for debate. As far as Herro, who knows. He went one before, so if you desire the player so much, you make a move. Doubt he, Zarren, and the gang were asleep at the switch.

Yes.....they failed to give up too much for the 4th pick

When the Celtics pay Brown the max, it will be the end.

...

Addendum, heard this AM that in exchange for Baynes and #24 the Celtics get Phoenix #1 in 2020... not quite as bad as originally thought.

Actually, that's the MIL #1 pick via PHX that we would get. MIL is going to finish with a top 3-5 record in the NBA.

I loved Nik Stauskas coming out of college. If he sucked, then I stopped putting any stock in my ability to project collegiate talent to the NBA.
