Does anyone know? I've heard it referenced a few times how rare it is for two 5-0 teams to face-off against each other. I'm wondering if the Colts & Pats go unbeaten until they play if that would be unprecedented.

You gotta go w-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-ay back to 2004, when the 5-0 Patriots beat the 5-0 Jets 13-7.

But yeah, if a 7-0 Colts team play an 8-0 Pats team, I also wonder if that would be unprecedented.

Very surprising to me that it would happen so seldomly.

Why do I recall something about the Eagles being 8 - 0 and facing another undefeated team a few years ago? Maybe the other team only had one loss or something.

I think that was Eagles and Steelers, one was undefeated the other had 1 loss. IIRC, the one loss team won that game.
