Put down the crack pipe, my friend.
Obrein sir you don't think Caserio could see a situation where him and Josh are the head men there.
I did not mean Belichick
How would they know this? They can't talk to him without permission. Tampering doesn't just apply to players.
Agree they definitely would of tampered if they think he's ready for a change.

There are two Bills which creates confusion.

Calling BOB 'Bill' is sacrilege. But it's been kind of funny watching the confusion.

You should probably specify that if you're talking about two teams both coached by a man named Bill.

Anyone know how long the Patriots have to respond?
Thats my question as well but I think the more important question is does he want to interview.

Caserio has interviewed before (Miami in 2013 I think) so if he took an interview it would not be groundbreaking.

I think its really up to him and the NEP will accommodate his desire.

TBH I can't see them denying Nick and Monti again.

Theres always backchannels to find out info. A lot of teams go through a coach/GMs agent to gauge interest even though that coach/GM is under contract with another team.

This is really easy for the Patriots to address if they are really planning for Caserio to take over the franchise when Belichick steps down, just start paying him GM $ right now. The Kraft’s are billionaires so it won’t hurt very much, and it’s well worth it if they believe, as I do, that Caserio is the guy who can best continue to run their entire program at the highest level. I’m guessing this is why they haven’t given the Texans an answer, they are redoing Caserio’s deal to keep him in NE long term.

Best result by far guarantee Nick And Josh the reigns at some point.
Be great to keep Mont as well.
If they can't get Nick they may target him.
Surprised Texans haven't reached out to Pioli.
Pioli should also be strongly considered for the Giants GM gig.
If Jones looks as bad as the media wants him to.

I don't know what kind of relationship he has with Bill but If Nick takes that job and Bill had a bad season I could see Bill getting the axe and Josh being hired as HC.

No you couldn't.

BOB might get fired if the Texans stink this year.

BOB signed a 5 year extension last year. BOB is the one standing, while the former GM is unemployed.

BOB's not going anywhere after this season, unless he does something insane, which is the same as most NFL coaches in a comfortable position. Are we really going to try tossing in the "What if half the team dies of indigestion, or hits the IR in the first couple of weeks of the season, and the team's record is, like, 1-15" type of arguments?
