It’s funny how tiny and quaint the Super Bowl 36 ring is.

Or ones before it. Several years ago was at a conference and the guy sitting next to me ( unbeknownst to me) had been an O Lineman on Super Bowl 5 winning Colts and had one of those rings... Mighty small compared to now....

It seems BK, JK and BB are ok with it so there is no reason for fans to have an issue.

Not only are they ok with it, they are promoting it. "Look what that knucklehead did to the trophy!" Next thing, they will be selling t-shirts with the dented trophy.

This event should be televised. Or at least made into a one-hour special for everyone to see.

I agree but I also think with the way Bendover Bob wants it, which is more of a private ceremony for his players/coaches/personnel, it's fine how it is not being televised.

Yeah, not being televised live perhaps is appropriate but a nice hourlong special after the fact would be nice to see. IIRC they do have cameras at the event.

If that was their only Lombardi Trophy, I think people would be a bit more annoyed. But since they have six, it's like what the hell, who cares!

If it were on the side of the trophy that is forward facing when on display, then that would probably grind the gears a bit more.
